Hidden in the pines on the edge of the Rocky River is this beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bath retreat with sleeping for up to 8 guests. Enjoy the tranquility that surrounds you from the peaceful location to the sound of the river rushing over the rocks, this will be a vacation to remember! The open concept living, kitchen and dining area offer plenty of space for everyone to be together and the beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace adds a wonderful warmth to the room. The main level includes a bedroom with queen bed, full bath, open concept living, kitchen and dining area and great slider doors leading out to the large deck overlooking the Rocky River. The second level provides a bedroom with queen bed, bedroom with twin and double bunk bed and full bath. On the lower level there is additional sleeping with twin size bunk bed (2 twin beds) and full size bed and a family room with pool table. From the lower level you can also walk outside to the Rocky River. Although the river is rocky there is an excellent sandy path that leads you to the water’s edge. Here you can set up your chairs and enjoy the sights and sounds of Mother Nature!

Wonderful Retreat and Recharge

This home is definitely a HomeAway for my family. We love the location for peace and quiet, yet close enough to do lots of things nearby. There is so much to see and do such as waterfalls, hiking and playing in the river right behind the house.. Delicious restaurants nearby such as Margarita Grill for fresh farm to table food, and for a quick bite Island Chef's Cuban Sandwich is to die for! The property was clean and well maintained and I will definitely be going back again soon. I highly recommend this home and treat it as if it were my own.

Excellent location and home

Had a great stay on the Rocky River in this beautiful home. This house has an excellent layout with a game room in the basement with a queen and bunk bed. A main floor queen and master bath. Two specious bedrooms on the top floor with full bath. Perfectly situated between Crawford Notch and North Conway. No mountain view but a nice private spot along the river with no traffic sounds. I missed the notes about bring your own linens and towels but the management company helped us out by providing some. Just a couple of dings being that the grill is an old charcoal grill and could use an update. The washer did not work, and the pantry was a bit sparse. No on-site trash disposal so we needed to bring our trash with us which was a little inconvenient. I'd encourage a few upgrades in the amenities department but overall, a great place with tremendous charm.

Family vacation

Beautiful rental! Well stocked and spacious with the finished basement. Very clean. River was very shallow and rocky but great for the little kids. Close to everything, loved going to the cider house every morning for coffee and baked treats.

Amazing getaway!

We had an amazing experience with this rental property! It was beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised the moment I walked in. We loved this home and our family did as well. We will most definitely be back! We spent our days floating down the Saco that is only about 15 minutes away. It was lovely coming back to our own super private and secluded beautiful home.

Rocky River Hpuse

We really enjoyed ourselves and the house was clean and enjoyable. A few things I wish we would have known (and I hope the owners take as constructive criticism to make improvements to the property) you have to haul your trash 20+ minutes away to the rental property office. We had a bear come up to our truck one night while we were there so it’s quite a pain - we had just taken bags of trash out of the truck to sit inside the house overnight and less than 30 minutes later heard something in the woods outside the house - found the paw prints on the truck in the morning. Surely there is a bear proof solution that would not require hauling trash almost an hour each day. The beds were meh. Really Hard - would have really made a big difference if the bed had a 3” foam topper on the master bed and 2 of the 5 twins are blow up mattresses. My kids didn’t mind but had we wanted an adult to sleep up there I would have been pretty annoyed. The kitchen has very little space - really wish the whole house - but especially the kitchen had less decor. With an instruction to not rearrange things belonging to the homeowner it made life difficult trying to find dry storage options for food as well as being able to locate a missing stuffed animal - there is too much stuff - as someone who has rented quite a bit from HomeAway and AirBnB it makes the listing look messy and dirty and I will often skip past them when I am searching for a rental because it looks messy. Also wished there was more outdoor seating options -we come to the mountains to enjoy the cool air and coffee on the deck and my parents were really uncomfortable sitting on the picnic table for extended periods of time. The water was really rusty - noticed there was a whole house water filter not sure if changing the filter more often would help - even my first shower after leaving smelled of rust water from the residue still in my hair. Our white clothes were left looking gross - hoping I can get it out once we get home as the clothes were new. The washer and dryer were very much appreciated and in good working order other than the funky water. The house was well maintained and clean and the kitchen was well stocked with things for cooking and ample space for dining. We enjoyed our stay and playing by the river. The house was fairly close to activities and shopping while also being a bit isolated - you really don’t ever see the neighbors. Made lots of memories with my kids

Great fire place on 1st floor and usable kitchen (with supplies)! The rental company was very easy to work! We would definitely recommend this home and consider going back soon! Only knocks were grille was not appealing to use (so we cooked inside and hung inside vs porch) and the water smelled like pennies (bring water with you to drink).

The house was beat and clean. Only small issue is that there is a ant problem that was only in the kitchen on the counters. They are very tiny tiny ants. We were going to get Some ant traps but saw that someone had already placed some. Overall we were very satisfied and would definitely come back in the future.

The location is wonderful- secluded yet close to so much, including Story Land, North Conway, hiking, etc. The kids loved playing in the rocky river behind the house, which is very clean - just sand, rocks and water. The adults enjoyed the game room and fire pit. My only complaint is that the tap water had a very strong smell of iron. I did don’t feel comfortable drinking it as-is, but we used it for cooking and coffee without issue. I will definitely recommend this property to others and hope to return some day!

This was the first time staying at the Rocky Rivers Edge property and there was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Three bathrooms made getting ready a breeze and there was plenty of space for the kids to entertain themselves. The river was a quick walk down the path and it was great getting to listen to it from the double sliding glass doors. Beautiful and secluded location.

Lovely vacation rental

This rental is in a lovely quiet position by the river and yet close to North Conway and all the attractions in the area. We had a few issues upon arrival but the agents resolved these to our satisfaction so we had no complaints. The house was very tranquil with it's deck with views of the river and no neighbours within sight of the property. The house is surprisingly spacious and we had great fun in the downstairs games room. We have stayed in many different rentals in different parts of the US and this is up there with the best of them, especially given the location in such a beautiful part of the White Mountains.

Wonderful vacation !

We were looking for a mini vacation and booked four days at the Rocky River house, it was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had, the house was perfect, comfortable and had everything we wanted and more!
