Peaceful, beautiful retreat

We loved staying here. The property is located overlooking a stunning estuary and makes a lovely place to rest and relax. We enjoyed local restaurants and beautiful sunsets. It’s a very quiet property even though it’s quite close to town. Communication with the host was exceptional, far exceeded expectations.

What a view

This is the second time we’ve stayed there, and the view from the balcony is just as amazing as I remember it. The space is perfect for my wife and the dog, and being just a few steps away from the best bar in Cedar Key doesn’t hurt either. We’ll be back to stay again!

Cozy cabin on the key

We enjoyed our stay with Denise. The cabin was just the right size and appreciated being able to have our pup Ottis. We are thankful they were still available after the hurricane since we planned about 6 months out. Would love to come back when the dock is rebuilt. Thanks for having us!

Great property. We were a little concerned about the location at first. We usually stay in town. However, the location is perfect. Close to town, but less activity. The private deck was spacious and had a great view of the tidal estuary. Very clean when we arrived. The best check in process we have ever experienced. We will definitely be back.

Great location- overlooking tidal estuary, with superb sunsets, easy drive with very little traffic to parks/wildlife areas. Responsive, pleasant, & helpful owners. Recently repainted exterior looks great. Only reason for 4 rating is interior is a bit worn, & could have been cleaner, poor lighting on exterior stairs. HOWEVER - owner responded herself to clean, I would recommend staying here- & hope to return ourselves.

Your little paradise

We booked our trip last minute to enjoy the new year weekend. Denise was wonderful at communicating all the trip details and she was wonderful for allowing us to check in early and check out late. The property is beautiful. Peaceful. All that cedar key has to offer. The rooms were clean, the place was immaculate. We felt right at home and let’s not even begin to describe the beautiful views and sunsets. This place is perfect for families, the rooms are spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor space is absolutely brilliant. Recommend this place highly. Especially for those seeking a beach relaxation vacation. Will be back again for sure. What a gem
