Truly Therapeutic

So darling!

Perfect little getaway for our family of 6. So clean—really impressive. Beds were comfortable, great bathrooms. Porch was dreamy for morning coffee. Perfect view and quiet location. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lake Therapy is RELAXING!

My husband and I with our three children (ages 2, 7, 10) stayed at Lake Therapy for Thanksgiving week! We hope to be back potentially for the spring! The house is beautifully decorated. The views of the lake from the back windows and screen in porch are absolutely gorgeous! Even though the weather became colder as we stayed, we still enjoyed the fireplace outside the home.

Best Lakefront Cottage in Scottsboro

This cottage is exactly what you expect a southern lakefront carriage to be. The space was perfect for the 6 of us. Each couple had a bedroom and there was plenty of space to sit and visit or share a meal. The back porch overlooking Lake Guntersville is screened in and such a wonderful place to enjoy nature with a good book. Parking was not an issue either as the driveway is long and had plenty of room for our three trucks and two boats. This is our second time booking this property and we hope it’s available when we travel to Scottsboro again!

Loved it!

Loved the house and the views are spectacular. The home has large windows to see the river as well as a huge screened in back porch. I loved to sit in the back porch in peace drinking my morning coffee and just soaking in the view. Also loved the kayaks provided as we used them daily. The home provided everything needed for our stay.

Perfectly Named

We had a great time. The cabin was very clean and extremely comfortable. Had a beautiful view of the lake from the back porch and a really short walk to the lake for fishing. Rained on our last day but the screened in porch was perfect for still being able to enjoying the outdoors and family time. Would highly recommend this cabin. Thanks for sharing your home. We will be back.

Birthday Celebration!

This house made for amazing memories to be shared forever! The decorations and comfort of the space was everything I wanted and more. I really enjoyed the Kayaks provided since the water was not swimmable at the waters edge. If you row out in the Kayaks it’s shallow and you can still stand up on a bed of shells about 3 feet deep. If you’re a fisher this is the spot for sure as well! Will return for more rest and relaxation in the future!

Felt like entire house was an upgrade!

Our family decided to stay on the lake for the weekend. It was a great location to meet up with our daughter in Huntsville while we are in Atlanta. The house was absolutely fantastic. It seemed the hosts decided to go better or best on anything they put in the house. This included the decor, furniture, outdoor fireplace, kitchen dishes & utensils, etc, etc. etc. The view was nice and we enjoyed eating breakfast on the covered deck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Therapy! It definitely surpassed our expectations. The home is beautifully decorated, so much time and effort went into making it just right. The screened in porch is lovely as well as the massive outdoor fireplace. The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located between Guntersville and Scottsboro. The owner is a pleasure to work with as well, always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We highly recommend Lake Therapy as a perfect place for families or those simply looking for a retreat from every day life.

Great time away

This is a great property with a nice flat back yard. Extremely clean and well stocked. Accurate pictures. Quick communication and responses. We had both our sons and had plenty of room inside and out. We fished, played for home and spent a lot of time on the screened in porch as well as at the fire pit. The weather was unusually cold so we watched movies as well - easy access to many apps (Netflix, Disney+, etc). The boys brought their game systems. Excellent internet connection. Would definitely come back.

Best Vacation Rental I have ever stayed at

The place is extremely clean (spotless), very tastefully decorated, stocked with everything you need for a home away from home. The home just feels comfortable with the large main living area and view of the lake. Beds are great. The owners make sure you are comfortable and available if needed. Very nice people. The outside area with large cooking stove and fireplace is a great place to spend the evening. The view of the sun on the lake is wonderful. The screened in back porch is a perfect place to just sit and watch everything. You can fish in the backyard which is large. My wife loves birds so she truly enjoyed fishing while all the birds in particular woodpeckers were around her. She loved the geese and the red fox that came through a couple of times. Convenient to a boat ramp if you bring your boat. I could write a book about how great the place is but I will stop here. We appreciated the opportunity to spend some time here.

There are not enough great things to say. We were so comfortable and the house was stocked with essentials. We loved the screen porch. It rained most of the time but we were able to walk down to the lake and fish. Would definitely recommend and we will visit again!

Great Time with Friends!

Lake Therapy was the perfect place for our group of friends. The cottage had a beautiful view of the lake from the screened in porch. Accommodations were perfect for our group - kitchen well equipped for meals and snacks. Bedrooms and beds very comfortable for a peaceful nights sleep. Nice quiet area to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Outdoor fireplace was a bonus for the chilly evenings and for making s’mores.

Great Weekend Getaway

We were there for a birthday trip. The house is beautiful and very clean. Check in process was super easy. Host communication was great. Everything you need for cooking and grilling. Some spices left. The view is absolutely phenomenal. Pay attention to what hunting season it is. We were woke up early Saturday to duck hunters. Not a big deal for us because it was fun to watch them do their thing. Definitely recommend Lake Therapy!
