Disappointed
I'm not sure who to be disappointed with. Vrbo, Grand Welcome or the property owner. Communication through email is extremely slow and I was not able to reserve the property for a fourth night. A sign left on the refrigerator by housekeeping was half written in spanish and half in english. The spanish half said not to throw away the food that was in the refrigerator and the other half in english said the owner would be back in a few days. Good thing I understand both languages. To me this was unacceptable, the refrigerator should be clean as I am expected to leave it when I depart. I picked a pan that I thought I could successfully make pancakes in and I was wrong. Pancakes stuck, we dumped the coffee out and went out to eat the whole trip. Carpet was dingy, showers were extremely tight and window blinds were in bad shape. I thought I might get charged for breaking them. I called to get extra towels and I received a text message the next morning telling me to exchange my old ones for new. I don't like to complain, I am a camper and can happily sleep in a tent on the hard ground. I simply like to get what I pay for.
