Great home for 2 families to share vacation together.Our home can comfortably accommodate up to 10 family or friends.& Great for couples getaway!

No matter where you choose to sit, you'll always be connected to the waterfront scenery on Stillpond close to Chesapeake bay.The new remodeled, kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment needed to make a meal or Grill out on deck, just bring your favorite food and beverages and you'll be good to go.
Enjoy peaceful mornings, relax on the contemporary deck where you'll feel the bay breeze as you enjoy your morning coffee. For your enjoyment a gas grill, patio furniture and porch swing are available to use during your stay.
When you're ready to venture outside, there is a fire pit in the front yard overlooking the bay for guests to enjoy. (We ask that renters bring their own wood)
Our private dock and small beach at low tide are available for guests to enjoy calm water swimming, fishing, or docking your boat, kayak,JetSki or paddle boards. Welcome to use the 2 kayaks on property at own risk.Renters are required to bring life jackets as they are required by law)

Why they chose this property
We love this neighborhood because it's quiet, serene and safe. It's the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and there's so much to do! Try boating, fishing, crabbing, biking, sunbathing on the private dock or just sitting back and taking in the amazing views. Our dock is a great spot to watch the sunset. There is also a small beach 10 minutes from our house called Betterton Beach & a perfect beach for younger children & Lovely to watch Sunsets too.
What makes this property unique
Still Pond Creek is connected to the Chesapeake Bay for easy access to the largest estuary in the world! The 'creek' is a smaller, protected body of water with no jellyfish, which makes for fantastic for kayaking, water skiing, tubing, fishing, etc. If you have a boat, you can tie it up to our floating dock right on the property!
There are many shops, antique stores, art galleries and restaurants to explore in Chestertown and Rock Hall. Both are within 15 miles and fantastic areas to visit.
