Our family had a great weekend stay in this comfortable home. My husband and son enjoyed walking down to the beach to fish every day. We explored the downtown of Chestertown nearby and ate a couple great restaurants. We also enjoyed a breakfast at Molly’s Restaurant and bought several grocery items in their attached convenience store. We would definitely stay here again for a weekend getaway.

We have stayed at this property multiple times and always have a great experience. Our daughter visiting from the UK came with us this time and enjoyed using the paddle board on the Sassafras. The home is always clean, comfortable and well stocked. Our dogs also love coming here and recognize where we are as soon as we pull up to the house. The neighborhood affords safe walking opportunities for two and four legged visitors alike! The front porch provides sheltered, gorgeous and panoramic views regardless of the weather.

We had a wonderful time for 5 nights staying in this beautiful home. Spent a lot of time sitting on the front porch which offered spectacular gorgeous views of the sunsets on the Chesapeake Bay. Enjoyed the mornings and late afternoon watching the Ospreys catch their fish and seeing the barges and sail boats on the water. Highly recommend Buena Vista for large families as there is plenty of room to move about and just relax on the front porch and take in all this house has to offer.

Honestly, the pictures are not accurate. The rooms were way bigger and prettier then depicted! I was pleasantly surprised with all the details. The beds were all so comfortable. The view from the porch magnificent. Eagles & Osprey! The beach was so close & the Sunsets were spectacular. We loved Kayaking and my grandson had so much fun fishing from the kayak & the peir!

Amazing House in a Relaxing Spot

This is the perfect house - great spot right on the bay in Betterton, plenty of space, and everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We had a great time and can't wait to come back again.

Enjoyed our stay! This property worked out so well for our family of five! We loved the view, the cleanliness of the property, and how well the house was stocked! We would love to return again with family, our adult kids absolutely had a wonderful time and so did we! We like that it was so close to the beach!
