In the heart of Ocean Lakes, here's a beautifully furnished PRIVATE house with a complimentary golf cart included. Site # N104



Everything the Ocean Lakes vacation resort has to offer is just a short walk or golf cart ride away from this central location. Miniature golf, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the Sandy Harbor family fun center, cafe and convenience store are all nearby. The beach and more recreation facilities are just a bit further. This spotless two bedroom, two bath house has it all: complimentary golf cart, brand new (2020) gas grill AND charcoal grill, excellent decorating/furnishings, private/secure wi-fi and parking space for two cars (daily parking paid directly to Ocean Lakes).



The fresh and clean kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a ceramic top range and refrigerator with ice dispenser in the door. There is a full complement of cookware, utensils, dishes, glasses and tableware. There is a dining table and breakfast bar.



The master bedroom has a king size bed and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and TV, with adjacent bathroom. The sofa in the living room folds out to a queen size bed. There is a washer and dryer in the house.



**The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental**



Small (under 30 pounds) dogs may be considered with individual approval and $200+ pet fee (added to the reservation after approval). Please contact for approval before reserving as we need to know the breed, age and weight of your dog. Dogs are not permitted on the beach between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm during the period of May 1st to Labor Day.



Ocean Lakes charges $12 per vehicle per day for admission and parking if pass is purchased 10 days in advance, $15 per day if not purchased in advance. This must be paid directly to Ocean Lakes and is not included in our cost quote.



When you're ready to enjoy the beach, the pools, or other amenities in Ocean Lakes - you won't have to walk. There is a golf cart at the house that can be used at no additional charge. Golf cart operator must be over 21 and have a valid driver's license. Guests must agree to follow the Ocean Lakes golf cart rules listed in the iTrip tenant agreement (signed during booking), pay a $300 refundable golf cart deposit, and if a violation occurs there will be a $500 fine assessed.



Ocean Lakes is a complete vacation destination. The Sandy Harbor family fun center has the "Splash Zone" water park and game center that kids always love. The Nature Center can provide learning during vacation. There are several playgrounds near the beach, an Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool for year-round enjoyment, a convenience store, Sandy's Meet and Eat restaurant, the Sandy Harbor cafe, and the "snack shack" to grab a bite.



Ocean Lakes is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north are all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it's just a few minutes south.

Great spot, all we expected !

Great home with great amenities offered through ocean lakes, a short walk across the street to the store and grille or a two minute golf cart ride to the pool and beach. Beautiful little home with everything and more that we expected. Will definitely look into staying at this place again, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it !

We had a fantastic time in this home! It truly is in the center of ocean lakes, and is close to everything. The air conditioning is glorious and keeps everyone nice and comfy. The living room has a pull out as well. We will be returning!

Great family vacation spot with golf cart

We really enjoyed our week at this property. It was clean, but the comforter and decor pillows on the bed looked kind of dirty. Overall we were happy but had minor things that could use improvements. The sheets on the beds were very rough and uncomfortable and felt worse with sunburn so you may wanna bring your own sheets. However, having a golf cart was so convenient, especially with 2 little ones!! The home is convenient located on main ocean lakes drive but traffic is steady in front of the house so be aware if bringing children. It has a decent porch with outdoor table and chairs which was nice to sit outside enjoying the weather. Ocean lakes does not rent out this property; the home is rented/managed by a company called iTrip which is 10-20 minutes away from ocean lakes depending on traffic which was inconvenient. We went to get our parking passes from ocean lakes ( as we arrived 1 hour before our scheduled check in time and our house was not ready yet); so we had to get back in the car (after a 5 hour car ride) to get the keys for the home (the little ones were very upset as they wanted to go straight to the water park). We originally began booking through VRBO to reserve the property and paid the deposit but then I was instructed by iTrip to use their website to finish paying off the vacation; so I am not sure if we will ever get our security deposit back or not because upon check out this morning, the iTrip staff had no knowledge of when or who handles refunding deposits. I also noticed that on the fees for booking page, VRBO charges were more then the iTrip charges.

Hey Brittany - we are SO glad you enjoyed your stay - that really is a special place!!! We apologize for the back and forth during check-in; our instructions state to come to the office first, as it's on the way to Ocean Lakes and you are correct - if you go to Ocean Lakes first you will have to backtrack 20 minutes to get your key. During the busy summer months early checkin is never an option, so even if you arrive early you are not able to get in early - so always come to the office first before heading to Ocean Lakes. As far as the "deposit" is concerned, it was actually not a deposit - rather it was the first payment towards your trip. VRBO is nothing more than an advertising mechanism for property management firms (such as ours) and homeowners. They allow you to book through their platform, but the payment is sent directly to us (minus their fee) and then you pay us directly for the rest of the booking. The deposit you paid VRBO - which came to us - was not a security deposit, rather it was a deposit to hold the unit until you paid the balance. We are sorry if that was confusing - as we know dealing with two different entities during booking can be!

House was okay, rental office was annoying!

We stayed at this home in mid-September. It was just after busy season and the home was in need of a deep cleaning but not filthy. The house was on the main road through the campground which made it a little hard to get in and out in a vehicle. This home is rented through itrips. You have to go to the itrips office to get the keys and return the keys by 10 am on day of checkout. It seems like it would be easier to have a lockbox with the keys outside the home. Itrips also sent text messages on the next to last day of our vacation giving us checkout instructions that they already gave us multiple times and requesting that we let them know as soon as possible what time we would be checking out the following morning.There was also a leak under kitchen sink that we were not made aware of, someone had placed a bowel under the sink to catch the water.

Hey Jared - thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We understand that some think it's a hassle to come to our location for check-in/out purposes, but it's the best way to monitor who is actually staying in our properties and protect them the best we can. You would not believe the horror stories of what some rental agencies will walk into after a tenant (via lock-box) leaves. We owe it to our owners to vet everyone that enters their property and the only way we can do this is through our check-in process. Luckily the office is not far from Ocean Lakes so that's nice. The leak under the sink was discovered during the turn cleaning that day and we were unable to get a handyman in before your arrival (and since it was a slow/minor leak we didn't want to bother you during your stay to have the handyman come out). We apologize if this was an issue for you and hope to see you again next year!

Great vacation at Ocean Lakes. The house was very nice, more than enough room for 4 adults and 2 boys. Property was easy to park and the golf cart was an added bonus, so easy to get around the grounds. Highly recommend this property!!

Great house and convient location

Property was in a great spot on the main road. Located close to everything!! The only thinninwpuld suggest is maintenance on the golf cart(tires) and a better umbrella on the porch( sun is directly in your eyes during sunset). Umbrella is mesh material and you can't tilt it to alleviate the direct sunlight. Overall the house was amazing and spacious. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great family vacation!!!

Great winter get away

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay and the convenient location to Murrells Inlet. The home is nicely equipped, other than a Keurig. It is on the main drag of campground, very busy traffic, but we enjoyed watching all the golf carts and campers going by. The golf cart is great and operated perfectly.

Great location in ocean lakes

We love this home. We have stayed here 4 years straight. The house is located on the main road going into the campground. Looking to next summer, I feel I need to find a different place. The sofa ,which has a bed, has gotten uncomfortable to sit on. The cushions are sagging and look nothing compared to the love seat. A good thing about staying in the same place is you know what to expect. I know to take a baking sheet/pizza pan because we could never find something to use in the oven. To the owner, thank you for sharing this great house with others. I had the pleasure of meeting you twice and know you take care of this home as you drive in to check up on it.

Check in was a complete nightmare!!!! Rental place.... had me come pick up my keys. But didn’t put the golf cart key in the package. Had to drive 25 min in traffic back to get the key. Then once arrived back to the rental property the golf cart battery wasn’t charged. Had to walk to different locations for a few hours... very annoying experience

Hey Crystal - thank you for taking the time to leave this review. This area (Ocean Lakes) is EXTREMELY strict about many things, including golf cart usage. We sent an email, just after you booked, which reviewed the rules and gave you the option to digitally "agree" before your arrival. This form must either be digitally agreed to by replying "yes" for our records OR signed in person in order to "legally" drive the cart in Ocean Lakes. We did not receive the pre-arrival authorization form, which meant you'd need to sign this form before collecting the keys. Your arrival was after our office has closed (5pm) so while your packet was in our lockbox, we could not include the keys since we did not have the signed form. I know this can be an extreme pain - especially with busy summer traffic - but unfortunately it cannot be handled any differently per Ocean Lake's policy.

The property was such a perfect location to the beach and community activity at the camp ground. 5 minute walk to the beach. Golf cart was a big plus! many ceiling fans made the place very comfortable. Great response on need for a replacement on the gas grill, the owner provided a brand new one within the first week we were there.

We have been working on revisiting expectations required from our cleaning companies, so thank you Andrea for the feedback (we never know there's an issue unless someone tells us). I have made a note in our system about this and will have our cleaning manager personally inspect this unit to ensure the unit is in good condition from here on out. This property was WAY too spectacular to have the let down of dust behind the couch ruin your stay! We apologize for the inconvenience.
