We stayed here for a group event and unfortunately the home was not guest ready when we arrived. We found dog feces on a rug, hair in the bathroom and one of the beds, a full trash can, dirty showers and several areas that had clearly not been cleaned thoroughly. This made for a disappointing first impression.The positive thing is that the host responded quickly, apologized and sent the cleaning crew back the same day. They addressed the major issues we pointed out and we appreciated their willingness to make things right. However, after the cleaners left, we still noticed a few areas that needed additional attention and ended up taking care of them ourselves.The home itself was nice and once the cleaning issues were addressed we were able to make the best of it and enjoy our stay. I appreciate the host’s responsiveness but I also believe it’s important for future guests to know that the property should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected before check-in rather than relying on guests to identify issues after arrival.

Unfortunately one cleaner broke their arm making a triple bunk bed (at another property of ours) right before this same day check in during busy 4th of July weekend. The owner which is also our chief cleaner, and inspector for quality control after each clean, had to rush her to the ER so we were down 2 cleaners. I informed guests that we would return shortly to make it right and they showed zero forgiveness. We normally clean immaculately as evidenced by our past history of 10/10 reviews. But our head cleaner and owner of clean company could not inspect this one due to the ER visit. As for the photos. Yes only one of the 3 trash cans outside was full and immediately we picked it up bag by bag and drove it to a dumpster so they had all 3 cans empty for their stay! The dog feces claim is absurd and she definitely would have posted a pic if it were true. The hair zoomed in was an oversight and we apologized and sent the chief cleaner back immediately after they messaged us and took care of the hair! What I honestly think this review is about, is RETALIATION. This guest wanted to rent both of our large homes that look identical for the 4th of July for their massive group. We told them they were both available and to go ahead and book them. They booked the one and before they could book the other, it got booked by someone else. They were Livid and wanted me to cancel the other guest who rightfully booked it 1st. I would not and hence the major reason for a ridiculous 4 star out of 10.

Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay easy and relaxing. Alan is an excellent host. He was very responsive and cared about our comfort. This house did not disappoint. Just like the photos!Host was very attentive to our needs with any issue we had.Our grown children loved having the bunk room to themselves (8 Queen beds to choose from). Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. View was amazing from those incredible decks.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beach house and couldn't have been happier with our experience! The home is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. I also loved that there were so many towels provided!The first-floor master suite was fantastic! It's large, comfortable, has a door to the deck, has a nice bathroom, spacious shower, and plenty of closet space. One of our favorite surprises was the oversized walk-in pantry, which made storing food and supplies for our group incredibly easy.The sleeping arrangements were perfect. We loved that there are three king-size bedrooms, and the bunk room was by far the nicest we've ever seen! The layout of the bunk room provided a sense of "privacy" in a space that would normally be wide open. The queen-over-queen bunks with actual stairs instead of ladders were such a thoughtful touch and made the space both functional and comfortable.The outdoor spaces truly make this property special. The deck is amazing, with plenty of room to relax, gather, and enjoy the coastal breeze. The walk to the beach was quick and easy!Most importantly, the hosts were wonderful and made everything seamless from start to finish. The home was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as advertised.Checkout was a breeze, and we were sad to leave. We made many great memories here and would absolutely stay again! If you're looking for a spacious, beautiful beach house with fantastic amenities and attentive hosts, this is the place!!!

We had a spectacular time celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday. The game room was a huge hit, and the bunk room was perfect for her and her girlfriend’s! They thought it was awesome that they had a whole deck to themselves. The master bedroom was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Amazing Committee Retreat

Great house for a large group

Alan was the best host. He was always quick to respond to questions and a couple of issues the arose during our stay. I had to call him at midnight and he immediately answered and resolved the situation in less than an hour. The property is beach front and lots of parking for guests staying. Our group loved staying there and had a fun time.

Family Reunion

This place is phenomenal. I book this place for a family reunion and the house accommodated to people of all ages. There is a game room for kids to enjoy and the house was spacious. The owner was very easy to reach and responded quickly to any needs. When the crew came to clean the house and noticed that we forgot one of our cell phones, Alan reached out and offered to mail it. Thanks Alan…we still book again in the future.

WHEN YOU GET TO THIS LISTING DON'T SCROL ANYMORE! Let start out by saying how this house is amazing!!! As soon as we arrived we stepped into the house and it was nice and cold! The hottub is amazing! The bedrooms are comfortable! This home is so welcoming! Facing the beach you will wake up with the sunset and go to sleep with sunset! The one day it rained the kids were entertained by the wonderful game room! The decks are so comfortable and we really honestly had a wonderful time!

Family retreat

The house was gorgeous! Plenty of room for 12 adults ans 3 kids. It was a short walk from the beach. Owner supplied items for the beach like kayaks, boogie board and a couple of beach umbrellas. We lacked for nothing, they thought if wvertything!

Quiet neighborhood. House at end of road right on the Dunes!! Gorgeous views! Close by to fine dining like the Seahorse Bar and Grill just a few blocks away and can walk to it along the beach. We love love how u are on the sand and not across the street with a seawall and traffic in your way like Galveston!
