This spacious apartment has gorgeous ocean and marsh views from every window. Every room has been renovated. There is a large new bath, flooring, and new kitchen.

The large bedrooms have fabulous ocean views. You enter from a patio overlooking the tranquil marsh.

The family room flows directly into the bright eat in kitchen with all the amenities of home (microwave, coffee maker and toaster). There is a flat screen TV, WiFi , DVD player and a sleep sofa for additional guests (Apartment sleeps 6 very comfortably).

The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second a full size bed. There is plenty of room for a cot or portable crib for a small child.

It is just steps from the ocean with a Public Way (#2) directly across the street.

No rain could dampen our enjoyment staying here.

It is a lovely place and worked out great. Because my mom is 86 and the stairs were hard; we basically ate take out from A few of the area restaurants, drank wine and played cards. There is a nice view of the ocean from the bedrooms.

Our second stay in this apartment (and third at this property - stayed downstairs the first year). We love the location - beach right across the street, short walk to shops/arcade on Mile Road. Layout of the apartment is great, working laundry in the basement, lots of beach stuff to borrow in the basement, parking is easy, hosts are easy to communicate with. We will be back.

David and his wife, Rebecca, went out of their way to make sure we were totally at home. We so enjoyed our time in Wells. Their cute place is perfect - across from the beach, so clean, bed is very comfy, and the space is exactly what we were hoping for. I would definitely come stay again!

Great stay! Loved have the beach right across the road. Could see the beach out the front and the marsh out the back. Parking is tight, but follow the instructions and you will be fine. Owner was very helpful and communicative!

This property is right across from the beach and within walking distance to the arcade, shops, and food. Nice outdoor space with patio furniture and an outdoor shower to wash off all the sand! David is very responsive. I would recommend staying here!

Marathon stay

We stayed for the Wells marathon and it was an ideal location, within walking distance of the start line. The property was as described and the kids loved being across the road from the beach. We didn’t have much time to explore the surrounding area, but it would make a good base for exploring this part of the Maine coast. The host was also very helpful in responding to all of my questions.

Perfect location for a beach getaway, directly across from access to the beach. Best suited for a party of (4). Beds were comfortable. Linens are not directly provided and it would be helpful for this to be more specifically stated in the listening and lease agreement. Owners communicated quickly and addressed the opening season issue we ran into within hours of bringing it to their attention. Slice of heaven

The space was perfect for my husband and I, w/ 2 queen beds and a king pull out couch, this space could certainly accommodate more, but we loved the space. Kitchen was fully stocked which we were grateful for. Nothing like falling asleep to the crash of the waves or watch the sunset on the marsh side. Absolutely loved this space and will be back! So close to the beach, short walk down to the gift shops, we couldn’t ask for more. Do make sure you bring your own linens!

We had such a great stay. We had friends in the downstairs and we were upstairs. As advertised close to everything and seconds from the ocean. The wagon needs a little work the tire is coming off from so much use but it was an unexpected happy bonus to have toys and a wagon to use!!

Location is amazing! You cross the road and you are on the beach! The property itself is nice and has everything you’d need and expect in a vacation rental. It was very clean and well presented. My only complaint is the beds are really hard and uncomfortable and it made for a tough nights sleep. Otherwise the place was great and we would definitely come back!

We love Maine!! We live in Massachusetts and come to Maine all the time. Having 80 Atlantic to come to as a getaway has been great. We come in the dead of winter and at the peak of summer

Why they chose this property

My family and I have vacationed in Wells Beach for countless summers. We rented over a dozen different properties. All the properties we rented required us to pack all our beach gear in the car, fight the traffic and cross our fingers we would find a parking spot. If we could find a spot, it was often the typical $10/day. Then we would load all of 'beach gear' on our shoulders and make the walk to the beach. At times it was frustrating. Bathroom breaks were always an adventure. When we decided to purchase a home in Wells, we wanted to be right by the ocean. 80 Atlantic was perfect. It had a crosswalk at the end of the driveway for the kids and direct access to Public Way # 2. (No walking up or down Atlantic Ave to reach the nearest Public Way). Bathroom calls were no longer a problem and anything we forgot to bring with us was just across the street. 80 Atlantic is also extremely close to Wells Beach 'Center'. If you want a newspaper or a snack, the convenience store is right there. If the kids want to go to the arcade or get an ice cream its just a short walk. On top of all this, our home has Maine marsh views from the back and ocean views from the front.

What makes this property unique

So close to the beach, yet without the huge price tag of an on beach rental. The house is a short drive from specialty shopping in either Ogunquit or Kennebunkport. The Maine Kittery Outlets are just down the highway from Wells. Mini golf is available in Wells and a public transportation trolley can take you all over town.
