Quaint airy open concept 4 bedroom

Steps(5 min walk) from the ocean, listening to the surf at night. 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom. Outdoor patio, porch. Parking for four cars. Full kitchen. Area is wonderful to enjoy. Visit Congdon's for a homey feel brunch with Mimosas; to a nice lunch at Billy's Chowder House overlooking the beautiful tidal river. Have dinner at Verano's or skip down to Ogunquit and go all out. The marginal way is a beautiful spot to take your special person for a quiet walk overlooking the rocky Maine coast have a seat and reflect on life and how much simpler it could be for at least a few days. I hope you love the place as much as I love it.

Great stay!

My Family and I truly enjoyed our stay here! It had the right amount of space for us and was a quick drive to the public beach! The place was very clean and the host was quick to respond! Highly recommend!

We always love coming to Maine every year. This year we looked for a quiet place. This was it. The space was great enough room to be comfortable.

Wonderful house

Moody beach

The property was quaint and lovely. We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet space aside from all the construction happening around the house. The add is just a little misleading. From the images it seems as though it is right on the beach however it is a walk to the beach. The image also is a little misleading as I was under the impression we got the whole house however it is two separate properties in one. The house was nice and clean which was a plus. Lacking toiletries refill like toilet paper and paper towels. Plenty of fun games, books, and kitchen items for cooking meals and such. All the bathroom hand soaps were very watered down and would squirt out all over you. much

Moody 2023

We have a history with this property in its previous ownership so it was wonderful to be back after a four year hiatus and we were thrilled! Gerald was very accommodating with a specific request and easily accessible through email and text. The home was incredibly clean and welcoming, well stocked and plentiful nice linens. The kitchen could use a new toaster and a set of sharp knives. There was a basket full of throws which was a nice touch and a cabinet loaded with games and books.The only thing we found unappealing was the messy back porch with random pieces of old furniture and cushions, some cushions dating back to our previous rentals and beyond their time. I’d suggest getting rid of the green outdoor furniture which rubs off on your clothing and the cushions that were there years ago, as they’re not usable. The outside would benefit from getting a deck box and new outdoor cushions so guests can enjoy the patio on the new outdoor set. Those cushions had been left out to the elements and saturated from the wet summer weather and very weathered looking, new ones would definitely be a plus. The outdoor shower is a great asset especially when your group returns from the beach and are vying for the one house shower…a fence gate door or at the least a shower curtain would be a great upgrade as well. Would highly recommend this property, location is great for a 5 minute walk to the beach, the back up to the marsh makes it a quiet roadway and very inviting setting!

Poor planning by owner And vrbo

The renter forgot we were coming on that day. When we arrived 1hr early to view property. We noticed both lots had cars in it. I contacted renter to say we arrived and wanted to find out what time we can check in and what parking lot was ours. He responded he was not expexting us and that he was living there at that time. He asked if we could wait somewhere while he cleaned and got apartment ready. He was very nice and had unit ready in about an hour. The vrbo Ad never mentioned multiple units. And upstairs unit has tenants. One bedroom lists two sets of bunk beds only one bunk bed. Not enough room for two sets so two beds less than advertised. Important if your bringing kids. And some of the living room furniture smelled like old dirty sneakers. On our 2nd day there he showed up to do some outside bldg repairs. If he was trying to get us to never stay there again. He succeeded. The communication was terrible between vrbo and owners and us. We never received any updates, or door codes, my problem was I did not check with owner before arriving. From now on I will contact 2 weeks out. Apartment was nice and upstairs Tennant was respectful and quiet. Owner was very nice as well. It was just not our best weekend.

Charming and peaceful

Extended weekend getaway for a family wedding! Couldn’t ask for anything more, wonderful open concept everything you need is there! Quiet location and just a short walk to the beach! We will definitely be returning! Communication with owner was great!

A wonderful week in Wells

The property is in a quiet neighborhood near Moody Beach. The house was immaculately clean and perfectly comfortable. We had a couple of questions, which we texted the owner about and he responded within minutes, (nothing serious) resolving our issues. Everything about this house was perfectly to our liking and we hope to return next summer.

Perfect location

This house has the sweetest covered front porch, perfect little spot on a quiet street. Very short walk to beach. Loved the open concept, very spacious living area. Kitchen had everything we needed. An outdoor shower was a bonus. Will def book here again!

If it's available. book it! Place is great for a vacation with plenty of space and the location is great. Can walk to the public beach way at Moody or walk to North Beach. The hosts were great as well as we ran into a family conflict and the hosts were great accomadating our change.

Moody Beach

We loved the house and were very comfortable sleeping six adult women and hosting get togethers. We were there off season and managed with no AC but didn’t realize that until we arrived. There were two fans available. We were also not aware that there is an upstairs unit which did not affect us but might be important if families have kids or pets. The patio space was very pleasant and overall the house worked out perfectly for us!
