We are located in a spotlessly clean gated community with 24 hr. security, marina, ship store, boat ramps, picnic garden, heated pool, hot tub, tennis, basketball, playground, pickle ball, bocce ball and tennis, pavilion and club house for activities, over 4 miles of paved streets. It's a wonderful community with full time residents and vacation renters alike! We loved the location with a beautiful view of the sunrise. The community was very friendly and we enjoyed the amenities. The home was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We love the Florida Keys and we will definitely consider this venue again.

Exceptional stay at this listing! Breakfast on the back porch. Tanning on the tile dock. All the amenities of home you could ask for and very appreciative of it being pet friendly! Close drive to all the key spots.

Overall, this place was just what we needed but there are a few things that could have been better. The cons: walking into the front door of the property, you walk directly into what is considered the ‘guest room’ so as you can imagine, a bedroom situated between the living room and the front door has no privacy. Yes, an accordion pull to separate the bed from the rest of the house but all in all, I wouldn’t say it has a second bedroom. The water pressure in the second bathroom was awful so everyone shared the master bathroom, which is quite small. We had our family of 5 stay, it’s disappointing when there aren’t extra chairs to use and the table (as pictured) only seats 4. The kitchen was supplied with 2 dishwasher pods and 1 tiny bottle of dish soap, even though we stayed for a week. We asked for additional and we were told they only supply ‘starter’ supplies and we would have to go buy our own. The stacked W&D was great to have for laundry but when they ask you to launder towels, it would have been nice to have detergent provided for it. Ran out of TP, only a roll extra per bathroom. Pros: stocked kitchen and fish cleaning table outside. Location for boating was wonderful! Neighbors were great! The house was clean (minus a cockroach visitor one night, but it was the only 1 we saw and they said they treat monthly for them). Check-in was a breeze. The V.O. amenities were wonderful to have and having the store open 7 days a week was a great bonus!! Overall, still 5 stars.

Venture Out charges a $125 registration fee upon arrival paid via cash or cc only. There is no boat trailer parking and the overflow lot for a 2nd vehicle is not guaranteed and is first come first serve and may not be reserved in advance.Starting April 1st, AT&T will begin Operation Fiberoptic VO. Three teams will swarm the park in multiple locations. Please make sure your renters are aware that there will be park-wide construction. Potholes, noise, & wifi outage will be the norm. for 4-6 weeks, while they bring us up to date. Due to ongoing upgrades inside the association some of the amenities may not be available during your stay and there maybe some interruption in electric service as repairs are made. Please contact prior to booking for approx. closure/repair dates.
