We found the place to be very spacious and accommodating. The amenities were nice, however the pool was not in condition for us to use it. I reported about the issue, but no one ever came to clean it.
Plenty of room to accommodate our family. Pool, tennis court were perfect.

The property was perfect for the family gathering that we had and had exactly what we were looking for. The response to any questions that we had was incredibly fast and anything that we needed was taken care of immediately. We would definitely recommend this property and if we needed it again, we will definitely be reaching out.
Forgot to mention in other review that we did find a livescorpion on the back bedroom floor.

It is very hard to get in touch with a actual person. House needs some updates. There was no broom to sweep house. Carpet was not clean needed cleaned had nothing to clean it. The pool started turning green called then to ask if someone could come out to get it serviced and was not able to use it for that day. The next day reached out again to see if anyone was coming because we wanted to swim no answer so finally went to Walmart and purchased the stuff for pool myself to shock pool and clean it. After we did and serviced it ourself so we could use it. Then while we were swimming someone showed up. That same day backyard started flooding and could not use the golf area because it was flooded with water. The house is huge and would be a nice rental if it was updated and it was maintained better. Also had the necessities to keep it cleaned while renting it. I ended up spending extra money just to be able to enjoy the house.
The hot tub wouldn’t heat so that was a little disappointing. We loved the large space but it is showing its age. Furniture and under furniture needs to be cleaned. Beds were good, linens felt new and comfortable. Kitchen doesn’t have much for towels but we had luckily brought our own. Laundry room is musty and dryer takes a long time to dry.
Our group travels around for billiard tournaments and this house was hands down the best! Our group ranges in ages from 15 to 60 and this house had everything we could have hoped for, so much space inside and out, great pool, the perfect green for daily putting challenges, comfortable rooms for in between our different schedules, great neighborhood, very peaceful, and not far from a huge variety of food. We hope our group gets to return to Mesa because this is the house we hope to visit again and again.
The house inside was dated but we knew that from the pictures going in. The size of the house was great! There were some struggles with the bathrooms being functional and hot water. The property manager worked hard to fix those. The hot tub was never able to be used as it wouldn’t heat up: the property managers attempted to fix several times, but were unable to. The backyard was perfect for our group to play lots of pickleball and enjoy the nice AZ winter weather. We hope to stay again!!
The house was fine. Large, with tons of sleeping quarters. A decent value. Our request for early arrival was approved which was nice. But our host was *selectively* inattentive. Which, to me, is worse than just being inattentive, because I know he saw my questions and concerns about the hot tub not working, but chose to be unhelpful. He was quick to answer questions about everything else, but continued to give us the run-around on anything regarding the hot tub. He took over a day to give us unhelpful answers, wouldn't give us instructions, said he would check it out, then said he would call the pool tech. None of which did he actually follow up on. It was disappointing to have the hot tub not work, and even more disappointing to have our host lie to/deceive us in this manner.
Home is older and needs quite a bit of love. It was sufficient for our needs, but dining room chairs were broke, breakfast nook floor was dirty. Patio was dirty with trash and broken patio chairs. Hole in bathroom wall where door knob hits. Toilet seats not secure on the toilets. Bugs in showers. (Maybe needs pest control). The fact that there were 9 queen or king beds and 5 bathrooms is the main reason we rented the home. We are 9 women from 50 to 70 years of age on a nonprofit board. The home smelled musty. We purchased plug in refills and an extra plug in. It was surprising that after we got back after doing a team building event and lunch that four men were in the backyard working on a cover for the pool. A heads up would have been nice. We were asked that on departure to start a load of towels, but there was no laundry soap. Thank you.
I have rented many homes from VRBO (for golf trips with my buddies) all over the country and this rental, both the house and the dealings with the owner and property manager), were the WORST I’VE EVER experienced! The house is old and dilapitdated and it appears that the owner has never put any money into improvements. Many things don’t work at all (1 shower had no cold water handle; tennis net is not up; refrigerator light is out; and these are just a few examples). The pool and hot tub are not usable at all since the heater doesn’t work. I paid for them both to be heated and specifically told the owner that was an ESSENTIAL part of our choosing the property (everyone likes a nice soak after a round of golf). He ASSURED me that the pool and hot tub worked perfectly, yet when we checked in the water was freezing cold. Despite several requests by me, the heater was never repaired (rather than send someone to fix it, at one point the prop manager advised me that the pool tech was going to call and tell ME how to fix the heater). Although they refunded my money for the pool heating, it did not save our trip. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this property to find something else! Don’t ruin a nice trip to Arizona by renting this property!!!

Overall would stay again
Mixed feelings, none of which are the owners fault. They outsource the check-in and cleaning to a 3rd party that were really tough to deal with. I requested early check-in (which is an extra fee) and then was simply not notified if I was getting early check in or not. It was annoying since I had friends flying in from out of town and we had to haul our bags around. We were supposed to get check-in information no less than 1 hour before check in, and I had to text the admin line 30minutes before to even get an address. When we arrived, it was obvious nobody had been through the house in at least a week since there was a film of dust on everything. I know AZ is dusty, but I would think not getting early check was due to cleaners being at the house. We requested the pool be heated (300 for 3 days) and when we got there the pool was in the 60s, so it was clear the heater had just been turned on. We ended up getting refunded for the heating charge. There was no instruction book or welcome page so we spent awhile walking around trying to figure out patio lights/pool lights/tennis court lightsThe neighborhood and area are gorgeous. The house is massive and comfortably slept 8 grown men. We all just wished communication from the property management team was better, especially with the number of paperwork I had to complete prior to the stay being finalized.
Big spacious property and we loved the orange trees in the back yard. Pool was dirty and took awhile to heat up. Two rooms have beds that are very cheap- and hard to sleep on. Great area, close to everything.
Full time real estate agent in the Scottsdale area and father to two amazing daughters. Originally from a small town in the Midwest but have lived in Arizona now for over 20 years. Very active in the Phoenix youth sports scene. I spend my weeks working and my weekends in basketball gyms. VRBO is a great service and I've already met some amazing people traveling to Arizona through hosting properties. We take pride in making the guests stay comfortable and enjoyable
