Lovely place. Clean, open great location. Parking was dedicated which is great plus in this location, but skinny but very happy to have. Stroll along river. Shadow brook restaurant visit was wonderful beach, shops and people watching were fun. Great place and would book again for sure. Thank you!

The property offered close proximity to the downtown touristy area, yet felt removed and private which was incredible. The house was recently renovated and felt clean and cared for. We were very happy with our stay and plan to return.

This is by far one of the best equipped and most comfortable stays we have ever had at a rental. The communication with the property manager was easy and they supported us with any needs promptly. The space itself was immaculate with freshly washed linens and spotless floors. The location was central to all things we wanted to be near. We had a dreamy stay and look forward to our next visit!

We had another wonderful stay at the Riverview Retreat. We had stayed once before, and it was every bit as terrific as the first time. The rental is in a great location just steps to the village. The rental was clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. This is definitely one of our very favorite places for a getaway!

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay

Beautiful home, clean, comfy beds and pillows, fresh, and perfect location. We’d stay again. The kitchen was easy to cook in with just the right amount of tools. It was a little hot at night for sleeping, but fans are provided, which helped.

Riverview stay at Capitola

We loved our stay at Riverview Retreat Duplex Unit A. It was beautiful and as described and Hallie at property management was very helpful and responsive. The property itself is beautiful and perfect location to the beach and shops . Will be back for sure

The location and the deck were the two best things about this unit. The interior was extremely clean and well equipped. The only negative was the noise from the deck on the upstairs unit which is directly above the back bedroom and living room, sliding chairs and people walking. Overall, great stay.

Absolutely beautiful; but loud

The house is absolutely beautiful and in an incredible location. You can tell it was freshly remodeled and all the furnishings are brand new. You can easily walk to the beach and to all the main sites in Capitola. The Riverview walk is also very charming.The only downside is that it is the lower unit. There was a family staying in the unit above us and you could hear their footsteps, TV, music, etc. They were not being disrespectful tenants, I think it's just a function of it being a historic building. Our kids go to sleep early and it was a challenge with all the noise.The property managers are super responsive and great. I would potentially stay again if I knew the upper unit would be vacant or I knew the people staying there (so I could tell them to not walk around once the kids went to bed).

This home was so nice! Right on the river and the home was clean, the rooms were a great size, the living room was so pretty and large. It worked perfect for us. Our adult children stayed in the home behind/above us and it was great because it’s not directly on top of our ceiling so we didn’t hear anything even though the home is connected. It was so charming we would come back here again!
