PETS

We love hosting your furry companions and welcome up to three dogs at the property. Please include them in your reservation and a pet fee will automatically be included in your reservation total. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional fees to compensate for potential extra wear and tear at the property and additional cleaning regimens that we undertake. NATURE & LOCAL WILDLIFE

Surrounded by natural beauty, the area is home to an abundance of wildlife. You’ll often spot deer and rabbits in the open field, and thanks to the creek running through the property, you might also see turtles, foxes, groundhogs, snakes—even the occasional bear. UPDATES & EXTERIOR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

We’re always working to improve the guest experience by adding new amenities and keeping the space safe and comfortable. As such, some furniture or décor may differ slightly from what’s shown in photos. During your stay, our landscaping or hot tub maintenance team may stop by to service the exterior—don’t worry, they won’t need to enter the house, and we’ll do our best to notify you in advance.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT TURKEY RUN (ON-PROPERTY CREEK)

Although water in Turkey Run sources from upstream natural springs, during dry periods, the creek may have limited flow. -- In 2023, a short drought caused low flow for about 2 weeks in late July; -- In 2024, drought conditions led to a dry creek bed for roughly 6 weeks (August to early September) -- In 2025, higher-than-average rainfall and storm-driven widening of the creek have improved flow conditions. Only brief periods of low or dry flow are expected this season, if any. -- Accessing the creek is at your own risk. Other guests have loved it as an amenity for pets and kids, but it not typically large or deep enough for fishing.

HOT TUB & AMENITY USAGE

Hot tub and other amenity usage is at your own risk. Our property cleaning and maintenance team takes great care to ensure these are available year round and are cleaned, tested, and maintained regularly by us personally or trained staff.

Great cabin just outside of town

Loved the place! One of the best and most appointed places I’ve ever stayed at. They’ve thought of everything you’d need and it’s all provided.

Quiet Retreat

The property was one of the best stocked and clean homes we have stayed in. All kitchen supplies and equipment you would need for a visit in the woods were available. The coffee/tea station fully stocked was a great touch. The owner was very responsive when we reached out prior and during our visit. We spent each day hiking in the woods with our dog. The property was well located to reach many parks as well as several towns. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Great time

I was able to stay here with grandkids and family. It was much better than getting 3 hotel rooms. The hot tub was great. We spent 90% of the time out on the deck at the big table. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this place again or give an A+ recommendation to anyone thinking of using it.

Perfect getaway

First, the host communicated well and at the right times with all needed information. Check-in was keyless and super easy, and the description of the home was accurate, and the emailed instructions left no questions. My favorite spot was the porch overlooking the meadow. Having a comfortable outdoor space to gather is key, and the porch table and seating did not disappoint! The kitchen is super well-equipped -- we had everything we needed and more. Some of us enjoyed the hot tub, we all enjoyed walking the property and the sectional sofa was the right size for our group. The beds are on the firmer side, and we all slept well. Really glad we selected this property. Thanks for a great stay!
