The house was perfect size & set up for our family gathering. Have stayed in a multitude of rentals & this kitchen was well stocked with kitchen supplies as well a coffee/tea drawer, lots of spices & paper goods, plastic baggies, etc. The exterior wasn’t quite as pictured, but we still enjoyed the grounds. It is convenient to the area & the local farm market is a must to check out.

This was the ideal isolated cabin for our trip to Northern Virginia. It was clean, well laid out, and very well stocked with everything you need. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

This is one of the best places we haver stayed. It was really clean and decorated so nicely. The kitchen was stocked amazingly for all those little items you forgot or just realized you needed. The porch was a favorite place to sit in the evenings and relax. I cannot rate this place high enough. We will definitely staying here again.

Matt was one of the best hosts we've had for a VRBO rental! Some bad weather took out the power and running water right at check-in time, and Matt was so incredibly helpful and attentive, providing regular updates into the night for a situation beyond his or anyone else's control. Check in and out was a breeze, and the listing matched the cabin very accurately. The smooth process and Matt's expertise made our trip so much more enjoyable, when the stormy weather and loss of power could have really soured it. Highly recommend renting through Matt!

Peaceful

We had a wonderful time. Kids loved the creek, wife loved being out in nature and just enjoying the atmosphere. Would love to return, sad to leave. Host was great

our favorite home away from home! very clean, lots of space, perfect hot tub, and love the wrap around deck! one suggestion: i need a dustpan! or vacuum?? we stayed long enough that the floor needed a good seeping but i couldn’t get the dirt pile off the floor.but overall, a wonderful place, communicative, friendly host, and a peaceful place to visit. we’ll be back again!!

Great time

I was able to stay here with grandkids and family. It was much better than getting 3 hotel rooms. The hot tub was great. We spent 90% of the time out on the deck at the big table. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this place again or give an A+ recommendation to anyone thinking of using it.

Quiet Retreat

The property was one of the best stocked and clean homes we have stayed in. All kitchen supplies and equipment you would need for a visit in the woods were available. The coffee/tea station fully stocked was a great touch. The owner was very responsive when we reached out prior and during our visit. We spent each day hiking in the woods with our dog. The property was well located to reach many parks as well as several towns. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Perfect getaway

First, the host communicated well and at the right times with all needed information. Check-in was keyless and super easy, and the description of the home was accurate, and the emailed instructions left no questions. My favorite spot was the porch overlooking the meadow. Having a comfortable outdoor space to gather is key, and the porch table and seating did not disappoint! The kitchen is super well-equipped -- we had everything we needed and more. Some of us enjoyed the hot tub, we all enjoyed walking the property and the sectional sofa was the right size for our group. The beds are on the firmer side, and we all slept well. Really glad we selected this property. Thanks for a great stay!
