This was a get away for my son's 22nd birthday which requested quiet and calm. This place delivered, even with the rain we absolutely loved this place. There are caves and tons of hiking in the area. Would suggest to friends and family that are looking for seclusion.
This place has everything you need for an incredible stay... not to mention the great view of the lake and incredibly accommodating and responsive host. Our group loved our time here and would rent again without hesitation.
Great place. Great Lake. My friends bailed but I enjoyed a pleasant stay. Thanks for the bottle of wine—ate all my meals with it on the deck.
Thank you, Pat
Great place to stay. Parking is a little tight. Very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here. Would consider coming back. Host was wonderful and very active in addressing any issues.
The house and property were beautiful. It was so clean and had everything we needed. It is a long walk down to the lake but well worth it. The lake is beautiful and the dock was so nice to have with the kayak and paddle board. Thank you for letting us rent your house we will definitely recommend it to others!
This was a beautiful spot for our annual Summer Solstice vacation! We have visited Beaver Lake for the past four years and love exploring new homes/lake spots. This was a very clean and pretty location on the lake. We loved the ease of access to the trails. Our young-adult children and teenagers enjoyed the rope swing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The deck was perfect to linger on as we read books and drank our coffee in the morning. We always stop at Onyx in Rogers for our coffee beans. We roasted s'mores by the fire and fished from the dock. Really, everything we could need was provided. The only suggestion I would make is replacing the grill or fixing so the igniter works. :) Such a lovely space for a lakeside retreat with access to the most beautiful water!
Cozy place that is very open via the large windows to nature. Nice lake access and in the heart of Beaver lake properties. Lots of places inside and out to stretch out and feel away if needed.
The Bear Den was great and Ginger was wonderful to work with.
Everything with the house was just as described. It is clean, cute, and family friendly. The outdoor patio with a fire pit was so nice. The dock and kayak were a lot of fun too. Just wish the March weather was warmer! Definitely a nice place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.
We have stayed at a lot of lake home rentals and this is by far our favorite. The home is gorgeous and well stocked with everything you forgot to bring. There are so many areas for family and friends to hang out. If you don't want to sit on the deck, there's a patio area below with an umbrella. A nice grill and also a firepit area you can use for smores. Although the path from the home to the dock is steep, it's direct access to the lake and a beautiful walk to and from. I wouldn't recommend this home to those with walking disabilities but keep in mind that most waterfront properties have steep access to the water. The dock has all kinds of floating devices available to use plus a rope swing is just across the cove. It's quiet, peaceful and the view from the deck is fabulous. Hobbs State park trails are just a very short distance away. So much to do here and the surroundings look like a magazine picture. Photos posted on this property look dark and devalue this home. It instead is bright and spacious with windows that overlook the gorgeous lake. The owners stocked the home with good quality linens and kitchenware. The beds were gorgeous and very comfortable. If you have kids, the loft area is full of entertainment for them (stocked full of games, toys, and air hockey).
We had ZERO complaints. The owner was VERY easy to reach and also very gracious. We will be staying here again and also recommending it to others.
We absolutely loved the house! We wanted a week in nature to get away from our busy lives and this is what we got! Beaver Lake is absolutely beautiful. The lake is not crowded. Everyone is spaced out. It was awesome. Also the house was clean, even the outside. I have stayed at a few rental houses and usually the outdoor areas are infested with spiders but not this one. The owners are definitely keeping up with the property and its very nice.
Great house with great views! Quiet neighborhood so perfect place to relax & unwind. Would love to stay here again when the weather is a bit warmer and bring our grandson for some fishing & swimming.
The accommodations were just as described. We were very comfortable and LOVE the deck. The walk to the water/dock is pretty rough, but when you get there it is worth it. The only tiny negative is that my GPS told me I was at the house when I was at the bottom of the hill. The mailbox numbers do not really make sense. The house/mailbox could be marked a little better. We saw the house number when we pulled down the driveway. Everything else was great!
This place was beautiful, it was clean and we enjoyed our meals out on the deck everyday, the best part was that we had our own private boat dock to use so we were able to bring our boat and go explore the gorgeous lake, our kids favorite thing was the rope swing that was in the cove. Everything about this place was perfect and we plan on coming back.
Bear Den is a great place to stay on Beaver Lake. The view from the covered deck is amazing. My teenagers loved the private boat dock and paddle board/ kayak. We floated on the lily pad for hours. We really enjoyed our stay here and definitely will be back!
Our four day stay was very enjoyable. The house is well kept and has a beautiful deck. The kitchen had a variety of cooking utensils and there was a grill that we made use of. A few more hooks in the bathrooms for towels would not go amiss. While the path down to the lake required care when descending once at the large dock you could enjoy amenities such as a paddle board and kayak to explore the area. There is a great rope swing in the cove across from the house. The large multi-person float was wonderful as the lake is deep. We would definitely go back.
