Perfect location for vacation on the Bay of Banderas, in beautiful Riviera Nayarit. You will love this tropical vacation home!
With stunning views all around the bay, beautiful furnishings and an incredible large infiniti pool (HEATED in winter months), just a 12 minute beach stroll to La Cruz Marina & village amenities…. On the beach at Playa el Tizate, the “golden zone” between Bucerias and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

This home features a tropical living open-concept design, with doors that telescope to open the living areas to the oceanfront terrace & views across the Bay of Banderas and the pool & beach below. Three jettys & the expansive views make this a very special setting. Occasional kite boarders, beach strollers, pelicans at play, even turtles (as well as paddleboarders and sail boats) … there’s always something to watch and enjoy. A small rock &cactus garden between the pool & the beach is a great place to sit and take it all in.. or to enjoy that first morning cup of coffee or sip your glass of wine in the evening. The casa, designed for casual relaxation & entertaining, has a large gas grill and entertainers’ kitchen, comfortable & beautifully furnished living areas, and furnished terraces overlooking the pool, beaches and bay. There are 3 bedrooms w/king beds: a lovely master with ensuite bath on the main floor and 2 guest rooms (shared dual sink, walk-in shower bath) on the lower pool level, all with A/C. There is an option to add a 4th bedroom accommodation by including a beautiful romantic & very private upper level apartment suite (if available, please inquire if interested) in your rental of the property. An upscale space beneath a dramatic soaring palapa roof, with living area (small sectional sofa), oversized blown glass chandelier, queen bed, kitchen & bathroom featuring an oversized shower with ocean views and a large oceanfront terrace. When rented along with the main casa, it’s only $150/night.
The infiniti pool makes you feel "as one" with the ocean! The beach stretches for miles to Bucerias and beyond to Nuevo Vallarta, or to the west to La Cruz & its marina. Immediately west of Casa Kaeli, in front of BNayar, is a wonderful swimming area, next is the new Faro Grill restaurant on the jetty, and then just keep walking to La.Cruz &the marina…. and maybe lunch at Peska (in the yacht club, it’sxcellent!) This is a beautiful beach walk.
This is a great property for family vacations and friends' get-aways. The open-air layout and spacious living areas provides for laid-back entertaining and total enjoyment of the tropics. There is high speed internet, a laundry area and off-street parking space. Housekeeping is provided twice per week (available more often, should you want that), and pool care three times per week. Massage therapist and cooking services can be arranged. No smoking allowed in the house, and no pets.

A Very Pleasant Stay

The house is separated into levels which we liked a lot. Each level very spacious and well appointed. The pool is the feature of the house and of course the view. Susan, the property owner, was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Our family of five enjoyed this lovely casa on the beach in La Cruz. Perfect location for our needs. The house layout may be a bit tricky for some because access to the downstairs bedrooms is via exterior stairs. Nonetheless, quite lovely and very good communication with owners. Would certainly recommended!

Wonderful family escape!

Our time at Casa Kaeli was wonderful. The view from the dining area is incredible. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our family of 5, plus in-laws and a couple of extra kids. Large enough for people to have their space but not too big. It is not good for people with mobility issues, as there are a number of stairs. The pool was enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Morning's on the patio drinking coffee, listening to the ocean , the birds and watching the world go by, were a great start to my days. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. A couple of small issues that we had were dealt with promptly by Susan and her team in Mexico. The house is easy to get to and a short drive to either Bucerias or La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, a vehicle is highly recommended. The beach in front of the house is rocky, but a few houses over you can access the water easily. I regret not bringing my snorkel and fins. The kids enjoyed exploring the beach for crabs and other small sea life, and we even saw sea turtles not far off. I highly recommend Casa Kaeli for a family retreat or even a few couples.

I stayed here with 6 girlfriends for a week and was just super disappointed at how run down the whole place was..... The photos are very misleading...... The bones of the house are okay but everything in it is old and run down and not the cleanest...... Sheets old and thin, no comforter or blanket on the beds just an empty duvet cover:( towels scratchy with bleach spots.... Gross old rugs in the bathrooms.... grungy dishes..... Furniture just old and run down..... Pool furniture all broken and rusty....we felt duped..... But we made the best if the location and got around to some great spots..... But when we left the sliding doors have no lock and the back gate to the beach fell off its rusty hinges so we couldnt really feel good about the security of our passports & valuables when we left:(. We could have booked a way better place if we would have known:( not worth the $$$

Great property manager (Raquel).... beds too hard for our taste.... great pool.... great house staff....good location.... great shared living spaces...great cooks who were provided....the nearby highway seems a bit unsafe.... Easy to get inexpensive Uber.... would have been nice if kayaks available..... pick up ice before you come.... good restaurants and beaches nearby.... lots of construction nearby too.

Great Private Getaway!

Loved the location which was a great midpoint for day trips to Sayulita, Punta de Mita and Puerto Vallarta. The main level has an amazing views of the bay and most nights you could see fireworks going off across the bay at Puerto Vallarta. While there are close neighboring houses we loved the privacy that this location offers. For young families: One thing we didn't realize prior to arriving is that the downstairs bedrooms are only accessible from the outside of the house off the back deck through separate locking external doors. Our children (all 10 and under) were not comfortable being down there alone so we ended up using the couch and futon upstairs for them for the trip. Worked fine for us but worth considering as we didn't end up fully utilizing the space as planned.

We had a great stay! Located close to everything!

Awesome house! Very big and spacious. We were a family of 7 and it was great to spend time together but then run to our own proper rooms when needed. The location to this house is what we most liked, your minutes away from Sayulita, punta mita, bucerias, nuevo vallarta and puerto vallarta. Having the pool and the beach so close made it so hard to leave the house. We did spend a couple of days just relaxing and enjoying the house. The pool man and cleaning lady were so sweet and very welcoming. We loved everything about the house! Would rent again and definetely recommend if your staying around the area.

We enjoyed this roomy and modern home. The pool was great. It is a short car / taxi ride to either Bucerias or La Cruz.

Nice Villa on the bay. Views are amazing. Not great for summer/rainy season.

The villa is nice and big. 3 levels of nicely decorated rooms. Although the patio doors were made to open up and let the outside in, they were closed during our stay. They have A/C on each level (which you need in summer)but they ask you to turn them off when not in rooms. Bugs! Again, the summer/rainy season is to blame I'm sure. They have these cement ants that just take over where ever there is a damp area. One night the whole outside area was covered in these flying bugs, We woke up to thousands of dead bugs all over furniture and patios. The infinity pool is beautiful, we used this a lot. Yard is small but very nicely landscaped leading to beach. Not much of a beach since its rocky, but beautiful just the same. The place was clean enough but could use some painting and updating. Lots stairs. If you have people who have trouble up and down stairs this is not for you. If youhave a lot of people and want privacy and want the space this is for you. The owners and help are very nice and accommodating.

BEST CASA EVER

Casa Kaeli is everything it says it is amd MORE! We went with four couples and there was plenty of room for 8 people without ever feeling crowded. feliz the housekeeper is super friendly and can help you with what you need. Sue the owner will send you all kinds of information to help you fnd anything you need to access while staying in P.V. We rented stand up boards for our stay and it was so great being able to board right outside the front door. Just a short walk along the beach and you are in La Cruz which has the fresh fish market and great restaurants and live entertainmrnt. You can also walk to Bucerias along the beach in about 30 minutes. We feel very safe in this area and have no problems riding the buses everywhere and exploring thecarea. We recommend taking the bus to Sayulita and hanging at the beach there for the day. We love Casa Kaeli so much we have suggested the place to several friends who have also stayed there and loved it and....we are going back again November 2013!!! Fantastic vacation!

We had a fabulous time at Casa Kaeli! Our kids loved the pool and looking for shells on the beach. The house is enormous and gorgeous and so open. We enjoyed using the grill and sitting on the veranda overlooking the pool, beach, sea, mountains while sipping cocktails. Playa Manzanilla is a fun place to go for the day, and only 5 minutes by car. The Sunday arts and crafts market at the marina was so wonderful. Feliz came to clean a few days during the week and is such a warm, kind woman. Thanks to Susan and Greg for your awesome house!!

Casa Kaeli, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Mexican Riviera

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Casa Kaeli. The home is lovely and comfortable. The photos attached to this listing are accurate, but cannot fully capture the relaxed ambiance of this beautifully decorated and well designed casa. We especially loved the ingenious telescoping screen doors that allow the living and kitchen area to become one with the covered dining area under the palapa. High ceiling mounted fans ensured that the casa was always breezy and cool. The beautifully tended infiniti pool gets sun for the better part of the day and is completely private from neighbors and the beach. We watched sailboat races and diving pelicans from the deck during the day. From the master bedroom we could hear the waves crashing at night. Casa Kaeli is located between La Cruz and Bucerias, with a large selection of nearby restaurants ranging from high end (Marks in Bucerias) to the excellent street tacos. Philos in La Cruz is a fun place to go dancing. Shopping is easy--there is a Mega supermarket nearby for major provisions and plenty of MiniSupers for smaller purchases. Don't miss the Sunday Farmer's Market at the Marina in La Cruz. Susan and Greg supplied a well thought out "Welcome" document that helped us get oriented to the area and they were wonderfully responsive to our questions and concerns. It was very hard to leave this delightful casa. We definitely plan on returning.

We first discovered La Cruz & Bucerias in 1995 & have been spending three- six months of each year here ever since. Over the years, we've opened our vacation homes on the Oregon Coast, in Washington State and on the Bay of Banderas in Mexico, thereby getting to know many incredible new friends in the process.

We have a wonderful family, with nine grandchildren, who we spend much time with. Casa Kaeli was designed with their visits in mind (& named after our oldest granddaughter), so you can be assured it is incredible as a vacation spot for families to gather!

We enjoy traveling, entertaining, and making new friends. I am a glass artist & painter.

Casa Kaeli is our second home in this fantastic area, just north of Puerto Vallarta (our first home, Casa Susana, was one of the first three homes built where Marina Nayarit now is.)

This property is perfectly located between two very popular villages for vacationers, as well as the large community of expats from the US & Canada that live here.

The casa has everything you'll need to feel at home & to totally relax (indeed; our housekeeper reports that many guests rarely leave the casa... in spite of all the things there are to do!)

Walk the beach for MILES, enjoy the many great & varied dining experiences near-by. Great, convenient shopping and Nayarit's famous beaches! Vacation in a custom home, and experience authentic living in this wonderful area: rich culture, tourist activities and adventurous daily living in tropical mexico.
