The house was clean and comfortable. Ginny (the host) was very quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating with our early check-in request. The check-in process was easy. The fenced-in front yard was great for our dog. The house is stocked with everything you need. Ginny was very thoughtful and generous in providing snacks, drinks, candy, and supplies. We had a great stay and would definitely book this house again.
Wonderful property with very accommodating features. Felt very welcome, like you were visiting a favorite relative.

That's such a great compliment! Thank you. Made me smile this morning. I try to make it like you're at home, thank you for letting me know it's working!
Great communication from start to finish. Virginia was very considerate and made the whole process seamless. Highly recommended will definitely visit again.

Shelby was a dream guest. She was pleasant, clean, and communicated well. I highly recommend renting to her.
I know me giving perfect scores might turn people away, they may think this is a fluff piece but it aint! I decided to bring my son to a football game there as he is considering this to be a school worth considering. Penn state lost the game in the 4th and that was heart breaking but the lodging was definitely a winner.! The inside of the house is 100% updated and clean including the painted walls. She left out chocolate, chips, water etc. I was in touch with her the whole time, she walked my dog! Honestly being less than 9 miles away, in an incredible clean, new/updated interior house was refreshing. I would recommend this place with no reservation. I appreciate you opening up your home for me and my son.
Very nice property. Virginia extremely responsive and helpful. While house was just what we needed and also available for only one night which was helpful, some might say the kitchen is tight on working space. Very minor detail to otherwise a solid choice.

It has taken me a while to respond because this review upset me so much.
I strive to make all of my guests happy and make it as pleasurable for them, so this hurts me, deeply.
We had numerous discussions prior to your booking, from my approval to the number of people there (almost 20) to how many people would be sleeping there (and I stated it's best to have no more than seven).
Yet, despite that, you still docked a full star from me, while neglecting to disclose you had almost 20 people at the property for food and games.
The photos clearly show the counter space in the kitchen. You still booked, saying it would be "perfect" for what you wanted to do. Had you expressed concerns about the counters, I would have happily provided a folding table to be a "makeshift counter."
Came to State College for a graduation. Needed room for the whole family. This house was great! Gave us all the room we needed. Convenient location. The host was absolutely fantastic! Great communication, very accommodating to our situation. Would highly recomend this property.
The stay was great. The house was clean, newly renovated interior. Comfortable furniture and great hospitality. I would totally recommend and will definitely stay here again.
Perfect house for our football weekend at PSU. Virginia is an excellent and very responsive host and has done a lot to make the house comfy and convenient. We would certainly go back.
My youngest kiddo qualified for Keystones up in State College this year and we wanted to stay somewhere close. This house looked lovely and was only 15 minutes away! Being right off of the highway, you could hardly hear the noise of traffic while sleeping. Ginny was extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will look to book again for future trips

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! It's my goal to make the house a home away from home.
Very comfy, fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Could use a solar light at the front of the driveway. I missed it every night. lol

Thank you so much. I have a solar light, but it's clearly too small. I will see what else I can do to make it more obvious. Thank you for the feedback!
The host pulls out all the stops with the small details. Drinks, snacks, toiletries. The house was clean and comfortable. My only complaint might be the road noise heard from the bedrooms. Might be less in the winter when the air conditioning units come out of the windows. The host was easy to communicate with.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our Penn State touring needs. The A/C kept the house nice and cool, which was especially appreciated, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout the house that made us feel welcome. The boys especially loved hanging out and playing in the basement. We would definitely stay here again!
