Quaint and peaceful

Loved both places. Such a wonderful stay. Had some great walks in the morning. Set out for day trips to nearby towns. Truly enjoyed the location.

Quaint Ireland Experience

The lovely cottage with a thatched roof, the adjacent modern dwelling, and the beautiful grounds made for a wonderful experience! The pastoral and quiet surroundings were enjoyable.

Excellent cottage and host. The house and shed are beautiful and fully stocked. And for an added benefit, friendly cows just across the street. The house is just a few minutes from town down lovely roads. Highly recommend!!!

This place was amazing. It was tucked away off a main road right in the middle of cow fields which was super neat. The house was very clean with nice linen and very nice towels. The heated floors were so nice. We were able to wash our clothing which was nice. There was so much character to this place and my boys loved checking out all the nooks. The lavender and rosemary outside was a nice Irish cottage touch. I would recommend stopping at Aldi and getting some groceries as restaurants are not close. Overall I definitely recommend this place to stay

Lovely, clean, modern

If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney.

We stayed in the lovely pastoral cottage in the Irish countryside. The property had been updated with modern amenities and was located close to Kilkenny and other points of interest. Our kids stayed in the Shed which was also updated and comfortable. It was a perfect location for our three days in this area. One point to note, the property is located near Callen which has grocery stores and pubs. If your map app does not put you near Callen then you are at the wrong place.

Sehr schönes aber abgelegenes Cottage

Das Grundstück und die zwei Häuschen sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Alles sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Sehr sauber. Jedoch sehr abgelegen und die Anfahrt doch etwas beschwerlich. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass wir einen Kontakt in der Nähe gehabt hätten, der uns auch etwas einweisen hätte können. Der Vermieter ist in Amerika. Er war zwar sehr bemüht uns bei Problemen zu helfen, aber ein persönlicher Kontakt wäre einfach sinnvoller gewesen. Für Gruppen und Familien sehr zu empfehlen.
