The space
Welcome to The Birds and Bees Treehouse, a one-of-a-kind stay like no other. Our short term rental is 8 feet off the ground, with a queen bed hanging below to enjoy your evening fires while awaiting the sunset. This is a stargazers paradise !
The twin beds in the Aframe are on casters allowing them to slide together making a Queen bed. There is also a Queen bed suspended below which is fully screened in for your outdoor naps and fireplace lounging enjoyment. Although there are 3 beds the treehouse has a maximum occupancy of 2. This is the perfect couples retreat or a few friends looking to immerse themselves in nature. The treehouse is extremely secluded and offers total privacy during your stay but yet is centrally located to everything Northern Michigan has to offer.
Located:
-4 Minutes from I-75 Ramp
-10 Minutes from Downtown Indian River
-25 Minutes to Mackinaw City
-20 Minutes to Gaylord
-30 Minutes to Petoskey
-30 Minutes to Harbor Springs
-20 Minutes to Boyne City
-30 Minutes to East Jordan
Guest access
The space directly around the treehouse and walking trails are available for your use.
Other things to note
This is a treehouse in a natural setting. We strive hard to keep any ants or critters out and we rarely see them. But please advise we will NOT issue a refund for an ant or a mosquito etc etc etc in the treehouse. This is a glamping experience in the woods. We hate bugs as much as anyone else so we work very hard to maintain a bug free environment but we simply cannot kill every one in the forest unfortunately. :)
