We had an excellent time staying at HV Woodside! It was beautiful, clean, spacious with a well stocked kitchen. The host was very accommodating and the home was pet friendly too. We would definitely stay here again!
It was the best weekend in a fantastic house, my guests and myself LOVED every aspect of the home. The surroundings, the kitchen, everyone had their own space/bathroom! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!
It's a great location and an excellent property to enjoy your family vacation. Om top of it, Fred is a wonderful host and very responsive to all your requests. I will definitely visit again and recommend to my friends.
Host Fred was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns, the home was well stocked with all the necessities, was warm and welcoming! There was plenty of comfortable beds, and seating areas.Kitchen was well equipped for all that you might need. The only disappointment was the rain and lack of snow we’ll try again next year
This property was cozy, clean, and just what we needed for a winter family getaway. Situated far into the Hidden Valley area, it offered peace & privacy. The owner was communicative & kind.
Nice and quiet, the kitchen was well stocked, beds are comfortable, 3 living areas for gathering, games and puzzles for evening entertainment. The baby grand piano sounded beautiful!
The property was great and had beautiful views from the many windows. Lots of space to spread out. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy and soaking tub was amazing. Property manager -Fred - was excellent- very helpful and communicative.
This was our first trip to the Laurel Highlands area. Fred’s house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. The house was large with 3 levels and provided everything needed for a comfortable, safe stay. We enjoyed access to the community pool as well. Fred is a very good and accessible host. I left an important item behind at the house; he contacted me immediately and took the time to mail the item to me. We could not have asked for more and would recommend the property to others.
The house was as advertised and just as pretty as the pictures! I was very happy with the cleanliness upon arrival. No complaints about the beds (though nobody slept on the pullout couch) and the towels were plush. The view out the master bedroom was gorgeous. No issues with anything broken or leaking. One of the few properties with four bedrooms, not to mention three of the four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.
We had a family get away with our children/spouses and grandchild. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are three levels of gathering spaces. After the few steps down to the walkway from parking, this place is great for handicap, including a walk in shower with one of the first floor bedrooms. Beautiful master suite with an awesome walk in shower and tub! We had an ice storm and they checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend and will return again!!
Great stay - had a perfect day at hidden valley for some first time skiers to Learn. House was great for location to both hidden valley and seven springs. Skied some epic blizzard conditions on Sunday, which was fun in its own way.Appreciated that we were welcome to bring the dog and play the very nice piano. Only suggestion: easier sheet music. I didn’t find fur Elise or Disney easy piano songs in their collection of classics from the masters.
I live and raise my family on this mountain—it’s truly our favorite place in Pennsylvania. I’m a serial entrepreneur and a father, and this business gives me the flexibility to almost never miss a kids’ event while still being available whenever a guest needs something.
Why they chose this property
I started this business after moving here. We just couldn’t part with our vacation condo—it held too many special memories and was in the location we knew we wanted to settle in after raising our kids. Around the same time, Airbnb was starting to take off as a real business opportunity.
With my background as a contractor and as a local resident, I knew I could offer guests superior properties and a better overall experience. In life, when something is working, I’ve always believed in leaning in and making the most of it. That’s why it made sense to acquire more high-quality properties and grow from there.
What makes this property unique
We are confident that our units are second to none. With our strong local presence and dedication to guest satisfaction, our mission is to ensure that every visitor leaves wanting to return. We are focused on the long-term, and we take all feedback seriously—personally inspecting every issue that arises.
