Welcome to Cedar Mountain, North Carolina! You are going to love this small mountain community! This home is a newly built, perfect getaway for mountain enthusiasts. Located 10 minutes from the entrance of DuPont State Forest and 20 minutes from the entrance of Pisgah National Forest. Our forests are amazing for any hiker or mountain biker, but for the road cyclists, the home is located right off of Highway 276, easy access to Caesar’s Head or down the mountain to the town of Brevard. Live music, food, shaved ice and ice cream are all within walking distance from spring to fall. There are several restaurants, golf courses, art, pottery, moonshine tastings and more just a couple of minutes each direction. The house itself is new, modern, open and inviting. You would love grilling out on the large deck while listening to live music across the street, playing pickle ball or basketball on the paved patio, or just relaxing by the fire pit after a perfect day of exploring. Relaxing time inside is also an option. Large windowed doors keep the house light and bright and there are televisions in the living room and both bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with all stainless appliances and there is a full-size washer and dryer in one of the bathrooms. There is even a small loft and one of the bedrooms for the kids to hang out when it’s time to wind down.

It was a nice, clean and functional space. We utilized the appliances (oven and fridge) throughout our visit. The beds and linen were cozy. We slept like babies after long hiking days. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location. Near lots of great hikes and beautiful scenery. The house was very high quality in all areas. Host was very responsive and gave you all the information organized in the binder.
Very clean and pleasant home. Conveniently located near the amenities of Cedar Mountain. Hosts were very responsive when I had questions. One of the nicest places where I’ve stayed. I would definitely stay there again.
Nice property, good location, everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Looking at dates in the fall this year and mid spring next year.
This is a great property to stay in!! Its location is just fantastic for enjoying the Cedar Mtn area and a very easy drive to Brevard proper as well as hiking and breweries!! Danielle is an absolute pleasure to work with and was VERY responsive both before and during!! We would stay again (and definitely will) in a heartbeat!! Thanks!!
Danielle’s home is absolutely beautiful. It is a new home and everything inside is new as well. We loved the set up as each one of us had our own space with full ensuite. The neighborhood is peaceful and not far from the attractions that we wanted to visit. The only disappointment was that Danielle’s listing said that Table Rock Park was a one minute walk. That was incorrect. It’s about 20 miles away which was no problem at all. The scenery is worth the drive. I would definitely stay at Danielles’s place in the fiture.

The home is new, clean and modern. Seemed to have everything one would need. However the home lack privacy. There was only one blind in the middle bedroom and a thin curtain in the second bedroom. The living room which has large sliding doors has no curtains, shades or blinds. The kitchen windows had no blinds. The hallway large sliding doors have no window coverings. Most importantly, neither bathroom had blinds or frosted glass for privacy. We contacted the owner and owner asked what she could do to fix it. We indicated,“blinds or curtains for privacy! I could see the neighbors and they could see me. There was trailer behind the house that could look directly in the bathroom. To confirm, I walked outside and could see my husband using the bathroom. The home has an ice cream trailer business in front yard that we were not aware of. Looks like a construction company next door. We have rented for 20 years and have always had window coverings. We requested a refund. We left the home as clean as we found it and for less than12 hrs use, we were charged the cleaning fee as well. If you don’t mind letting everyone see you on display for your vacation. This maybe the place for you.How to improve - be transparent about location, surroundings, and adjacent properties and provide window/door coverings - especially for bathrooms.
