About this property
Look to the Mountains: Gunstock Acres Log Cabin
Charming, quintessentially New Hampshire log cabin located at the top of Gunstock Acres. The cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy all the Lakes Region has to offer! Just an 8-minute drive to both a private neighborhood beach and Ellacoya State Park, 7 min. to Gunstock Ski Resort, 10 min. to Bank of NH Concert Pavilion, 15 min. to Weirs Beach, and 30 min. to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The house has a deck with a gas grill, screened-in porch, and hammocks to enjoy the outdoors. The space When we purchased the cabin, our goal was to furnish and decorate it in a way that would encourage us to unplug and unwind. We love vintage New Hampshire style, so you'll find fun little touches around the house. There are marshmallow roasting sticks hanging next to the fridge, battery-operated candles on the front porch, and plenty of books and board games.
The home has two TVs - the TV in the living room is a smart TV, so you can easily access your Netflix account. The living room has a Bose sound system that hooks up to the TV and cell phones, so you can listen to your favorite playlist. If you're in the mood to shut your phone off for your stay, there is a record player with a small collection of vintage records.
The large bedroom downstairs has a TV with a Chromecast, so you'll be able to cast from your cellphone to the TV.
Please note that there is a 220lb weight limit for the bunk beds. Guest access You'll have access to the entire cabin and yard. You're welcome to use anything in the house! Other things to note BEACHES
Neighborhood Beach: The beach is accessed by a key card, which we will provide. There are bathrooms, changing rooms, a picnic table, charcoal grills, and a kayak/canoe launch. If you would like to check out the neighborhood beach, copy and past this URL into your browser to see a video tour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfHp9UOX8tE
The neighborhood also has access to tennis and basketball courts, which are on the way in to the beach.
Ellacoya State Park: There are a lot of photos of Ellacoya State Park on their website. There is a fee to access the park. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under are free. https://www.nhstateparks.org/visit/state-parks/ellacoya-state-park.aspx

This cozy cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay while exploring Lake Winnipesaukee, the small towns on the lake and the surrounding mountains. The beds are super comfy and the family room is so inviting with its rustic charm! We spent a full day on the lake hiked a 48’er, explored Meredith, and stopped at some breweries. There’s so much to do in the area and everything is so easily accessible. Great spot!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It's located amongst other beautiful homes and has fantastic views. The home was warm and welcoming. We were able to walk around the neighborhood and relax. The kitchen was perfect for cooking little meals, the living room was great for lounging, and there were lots of blankets and pillows to stay cozy during our late fall stay. The property managers were super wonderful, they made it so easy for us to check in and out. They were attentive to our needs, very friendly, and responded quickly to our messages! We will for sure be coming back!
