Great location in Lewisburg near restaurants and shopping. It would be helpful to trim the plants on the front walk. If it's raining you get soaked, if it's sunny you fight the bees.It also would be helpful to mark the step midway through the walk to the entrance. In the dark or rain it can be difficult to see and is a trip hazard.Mustier smelling than I would have liked.
Lewisburg is a dreamy little down and this house is the quintessential old school Victorian home. It had everything we needed and was an amazing location within walking distance of everything downtown. Great for a small group.
The property is in a beautiful location in a charming town. The front porch has a view of the Susquehanna River. The walk into downtown is short and beautiful.
This lovely historic house is a gem in the Lewisburg community. As I described it to a few locals, even they were jealous! I loved the wood floors, historical features, and beautiful view. It was perfect for our family of four (plus gradma) as we visited Bucknell.
The house, historic as it is, is well maintained and very comfortable. If you love antiques and old books this is the place for you! My husband was an English major and loved taking in all the wonderful books. It’s a nice walk to Bucknell and to lots of great restaurants! If we ever find ourselves back in Lewisburg this will be our first choice!
