Family get away

House was clean with a large living area and kitchen with pots / pans and spices . The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were very nice . The hot top felt wonderful after a long day of hiking . We enjoyed the fire pot to make smores . Thank you for sharing your home .

This house is everything you want in a family stay. (except hot tub!) Plenty of room to be together, in a beautiful environment! Owner was wonderful to work with. Location was really convenient to store and area highlights. I give it a 5 star rating!

My family started coming down to Hocking Hills a few years ago when our son was going to Hocking College in Nelsonville. When we would come and visit or move him down for the semester, we'd take a few days to go hiking and fell in love with the area. That’s when we decided to buy a cabin in Hocking Hills.

Why they chose this property

Rustic Pines on Buckeye Trail has it all. Our cabin is located right on the Ohio Buckeye Trail and is a 20 minute drive to Hocking Hills State Park, Old Man's Cave and the Wayne National Forest ATV/OHV Trails. If relaxing is on your agenda, then sit back and enjoy a cookout in the back yard while sitting by the campfire or relaxing in the hot tub.

What makes this property unique

What makes our cabin stand out from the rest of the cabins in the area is it's proximity to the the Hocking River for tubing and kayaking, Rockbridge State Park is only 5 minutes away, Ziplining is only about 10 minutes away and the Wayne National Forest for ATV riding is just 20 drive from Rustic Pines on Buckeye Trail. New hot tub added in 2025.
