Cute bungalow, could use some TLC in the outdoor area, but it has everything needed for a great stay. Beautiful views, easy walking distance to downtown. Love the skylights and the quiet!

Thank you for your review, Cami. The front yard has been intentionally allowed to naturalize into aspens, grasses and wildflowers. I am doing this to provide bird habitat( and the deer love to gather here and to sleep!) It also saves precious water and the noise and air pollution of mowing. The look is not to everyone’s liking, however!
Everywhere you look is artistically soothing. Beautifu Fantastic location for hiking, sightseeing, dining and more. Hostess was responsive and helpful.

Overall a very nice place. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and we'll equipped, the dining room was lovely with a beautiful view of the front yard with Aspen trees. My only issue was the kitchen. The listing said there was a coffee grinder. There was not. It said there was a blender. It was just a tiny magic bullet. The coffee maker and toaster were really dirty to the point we were not comfortable using them. The oven didn't seem to work very well either. If you had something on the top rack, it cooked fine but if you tried to cook something else simultaneously on the bottom rack, it just didn't cook really at all. My husband and I have dietary restrictions that prevent us from being able to eat out at most places so we rely very heavily on a working, we'll equipped kitchen and unfortunately this place just didn't meet our needs. It's a wonderful place if you don't have to cook all of your meals there.

Thank you for your review, Erin. As to the kitchen, the coffee grinder recently broke and I will replace it. The built in oven has a computer issue that cannot be fixed, which is why I have a new oven/ air fryer right beside it. The toaster and coffee maker issue is unusual. My regular house keeper had a problem getting there to clean, so I had someone else fill it. Otherwise, I’m glad you had a good stay. Thank you for your input. I value the feedback, as it helps me to insure a more enjoyable experience for guests! Judith
This was a cozy, quiet spot to land after adventuring around the Rockies and Denver all day. The host was also responsive to questions and was gracious to let us check-in a tad early. It was also really neat getting to hear the train whistle in the distance at different times of the day! Georgetown is a cute little town that I highly recommend anyone stay in to get away from the bustle and traffic of I70/Denver/ski resorts. My mother loved the house so much that she remarked that she wished she could find something similar in our home state! My only major critique is that the cleanliness of the house lacked attention to detail. There were cobwebs in most of the windows, trash in some of the trashcans, and a small layer of dust on some of the bedside tables. Also, some blinds were broken or missing altogether. Overall, not incredibly dirty, but definitely some spots for improvement in the small details. Finally, the beds were quite firm, but the pillows and linens were soft/luxurious.

Thank you for your review, Lydia. I’m troubled to hear of the overlooked housekeeping details you mentioned. I will take this up with my current cleaner, as this level of cleanliness doesn’t meet my expectations either! I always like to get honest input from guests so that I can continue to make the house comfortable for all who stay.
We had an amazing time - the house is adorable! Very close to downtown and a great place to stay to enjoy the Rockies. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!
Perfect stay for a Loveland ski trip! The house has great character and is within walking distance of restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location made getting to the slopes easy. Would definitely stay again!
