The Tahoe House is a 1400+ sq. ft. 3 bedroom 2 bathroom mountain home with a 1-car garage and private hot tub conveniently located in close proximity to everything Lake Tahoe has to offer! Spend the day on the slopes and then come back for a soak in the hot tub, complete with cozy white spa robes. Spend the evening cooking up dinner in the well equipped kitchen or relaxing and playing board games in the living room around the gas fireplace. Experience Lake Tahoe living at it's finest!

The Tahoe House features single story living with a mud room, living room, kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The first bedroom can sleep up to 2 adults and has a queen bed and ensuite jack & jill bath. This bedroom features blackout curtains, white noise machine and sliding door access to the gated back deck and hot tub.

The second bedroom can sleep up to 4 adults and has queen over queen custom log bunk beds.

The third bedroom is a spacious suite that can sleep up to 2 adults and features a king bed, ensuite bath and 42 inch LCD TV with sliding door access to the gated back deck and hot tub. This bedroom features blackout curtains and white noise machine.

All beds feature Allswell® brand luxury mattresses and Brooklinen® brand luxury hotel-style white bedding. Luggage racks, spa robes & spa towels are provided in each bedroom closet.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook up tasty breakfasts, leisurely lunches and delicious dinners for everyone to enjoy, including the basics such as cooking oil and a seasoning rack as well as a coffee bar with Keurig® Coffee Maker, coffee pods, creamer, sugar, tea and hot chocolate.

The adjacent dining room area seats 6 people at the table plus 2 people at the bar and features a Crosley Record Player. Throw on a vinyl from our collection and let the good times roll!

The living room has a cozy leather couch, gas fireplace and a 42 inch LCD TV equipped with cable and Roku, as well as board games, puzzles, playing cards and more. There is high-speed wifi internet access throughout the house.

The 6-person hot tub is located on the gated back deck, along everything you need for a cozy outdoor moving night under the stars including outdoor smart TV, gas fire pit and marshmallow roasting skewers for s'mores.

Planning on remote working and/or learning during your stay? The Tahoe House has two portable folding desks available for guest use. They are stored in the bedroom closets and can be set up anywhere in the house as needed.

The Tahoe House is nestled in the mountains away from other homes and borders U.S. National Forest Service land, but is conveniently located right off of the main road, Kingsbury Grade, for easy access to everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. Just a few minutes drive to South Lake Tahoe! The house is located 6 minutes from Heavenly Village & the gondola, 8 minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort’s Stagecoach Lodge, 6 minutes to the casinos, restaurants and night life and 7 minutes from Nevada Beach. It's the ideal location for accessing ski resorts in the winter and beaches, hiking and boating in the summer. Located next door/1 minute drive away from Chart House Restaurant and 6 minutes up the road from Edgewood Restaurant, both ideal locations for dining out or sipping cocktails while you watch the sunset and take in the stunning lake views.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. We do not offer refunds for natural disasters, road closures or weather-related conditions like wildfires, poor air quality, snowstorms or other major events that are outside of our control. When planning travel to the Lake Tahoe area, we strongly advise purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen reasons for cancellation.

Vehicle limits are strictly enforced by the county, failure to comply will result in a $500 fine to the guest of record.
Parking is permitted in designated parking spaces in the driveway and/or garage only.
Parking placards must be displayed on the driver’s side dashboard of vehicles.
Quiet hours: 9pm - 8am, strictly enforced. Noise violations will result in a $500 fine to the guest of record.
Guest of record must be 25 years of age or older to book.
Signed rental agreement required to complete the booking process and reserve your dates.

Owners live off site and are available to communicate with guests 7 days a week with a 24 hour response time. In case of emergency, local house manager and handyman can be contacted 24 hours/day.

WINTER SNOW SEASON: During the winter snow season this area of Lake Tahoe can see a very large snow accumulation. 4 wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. We have a driveway plow service that comes every snowfall (of 4 inches or more) to clear the driveway. Shoveling service is not provided mid-stay, however we do provide (2) shovels and de-icing salt in the garage for your use if necessary.
