Nice place right on the ocean with very helpful hosts. We used this as a base camp/ retreat while we were exploring the area. Easy check in check out. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed for cooking, and freezer to put our fish in!

Excellent communication with the host and seamless check-in. Property was clean and good for our stay. Updated kitchen with supplies. Was what the pictures showed. Just a short walk down the drive to the beach and ocean. Just what you would expect from an Alaskan cabin.

We stayed to be near family and were delighted to see we were close enough to run into town but still remote enough to feel like we could avoid the summer crowd. We had rabbits running all over the yard, a moose friend that liked to visit the field of fireweed across from us and we walked down to the beach in the evenings to look for treasures!
Excellent communication from the owner. Property is very well supplied and excellent for anyone there for the fishing. View from the beach access path is amazing on a clear day. Cabin exterior is definitely rustic, but the inside is equipped with an excellent kitchen and furniture. Ceiling fans in the main living area and downstairs bedroom are nice to have. There is a full sized washer and dryer. The owner provided shower soap, shampoo, and body lotion. There is a jar with several detergent pods. The kitchen is well organized and supplied. In addition there is dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, spices, coffee, and coffee filters. There is a very nice French door refrigerator. In addition, there is a small chest freezer in the porch area. The water is apparently from a well and has a distinctive smell. The internet is most likely satellite based and isn’t high speed. The cabin is located about 10 miles from Soldotna, and only 10-15 minutes from the Kasilof River boat ramp. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 only due to the well water being a little different. We used bottled water. Don’t let the rustic exterior worry you. The inside is great. We didn’t use the upper floor, but there were two more beds upstairs. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was excellent and made it easy to access everything we wanted to see and do. The home was comfortable, and the host was very attentive and responsive throughout our stay. We did have a couple of concerns arise during our visit, but they were addressed promptly and professionally. We appreciated the host's communication and willingness to ensure we had a positive experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property to others looking for a great location and a host who truly cares about their guests."
We noticed most Kenai cabins are necessarily isolated in the woods and were delighted to discover this rare alternative.
The cabin is very nice with immediate access for beach walks and awesome views of the Mt Redoubt volcano and mountain range across the Cook inlet. Good basecamp location for visiting Homer and Seward on day trips.
Rustic electric cabin near the ocean- this cabin is one of a group of 5 cabins with this one being a short walk from the path/road down to a quiet rocky beach. The house itself is definitely rustic from the outside, and house is a combo of concrete, bare wood and redone areas. Heating for cool spring nights is by a propane wall heater, which was a little intimidating to use. House was quiet and charming. Bathroom was big with good warm water for shower. Water has a slight sulfur smell so we ran out for bottled water. Grocery store is about 15min away, not too far. With long days in June, the first floor had enough window covers to make sleeping easy. Second floor had a small bedroom with 2 beds and a large window with water view that unfortunately did not have adequate blinds for sleeping. Owners were responsive and tried to send over eye masks to help, had the maintenance man come measure for new blinds so hopefully that will be fixed soon. Overall a good stay.
