The house was very nice and was very quiet. If you want a lake home with access to the lake in a shallow part of a lake, this home is for you. In order to fish you need a boat to go out to deeper water. Overall a very nice place to stay for your visit to Door County

Everything about this property was perfect for us, in fact, we’ve already rebooked for next year. So much for families with kids (water, lily pad, kayaks, paddle board). All the necessary amenities and comfortable, clean accommodations made it perfect.

This was a perfect place for a family of 5. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio each evening with a fire looking at the water. The pelicans were neat to see and they regularly were on the water and flew through. The bikes and kayaks were nice additions that added to our experience. We had perfect weather and enjoyed traveling to many places around Door County. Thank you for sharing your home.

I tried contacting verbo about the hot water not working during the duration of my stay and was unable to receive communication from them about resolving the issue. I'm unsure what to do about the communication, but the property was very nice besides not having hot water.

Hosts were very responsive and the place was very clean and new! Great location would recommend to anyone who wants a Door County experience.

The lake view and access was wonderful and we enjoyed the time on the water. The rooms were clean. Unfortunately, it was extremely warm while we were there which was uncomfortable without air conditioning. The pictures showed the gazebo area had shade covering but there was no cover resulting in minimal shade if you wanted to be outside.

Hi Debra, The timing of your vacation landed at a Wisco-warm up indeed! During your stay it was 2.5 degrees above average each day with one day going 10 degrees above average. Please accept our deepest apologies about the photos of the gazebo not being removed from our listing. Sadly, we lost it in a big bay storm early spring and in our clean up haste, forgot to check the photos online. We found the cross-winds between the two bays (Sand Bay & Riley's Bay) are too great to maintain a gazebo during a busy vacation season and therefore did not replace it. We verified that our listing states we do not have AC as one of our amenities, under the Climate Control category. You may have overlooked that when booking, which can happen when you're perusing VRBO. We've added a paragraph under the Additional Amenities category, reminding guests that our vintage beach house does not have AC and point out the bedroom ceiling fans, floor fan and box fan provided to assist with cooling the house. We hope that helps future guests and fingers-crossed, prevents such a low rating of our home.

Great place for a family exploring Door County!

Kelly's place was perfect for our stay in Door County. A great place to bring both grandparents and our family of four together, and even fun during a rainy stretch! Our boys loved the foosball table and all of the games. Comfy beds and SUPER clean - we had a fantastic trip!

Beautiful home! They have all the essentials to just stay at the house and enjoy yourself. We unfortunately stayed during a extreme heat warning and wildfire smoke issues; so the only downfall was a lack of air conditioning. With the windows open the house does cool with the breeze like they say; its just during our stay we would have preferred to close the windows due to wildfire smoke and bugs.But thats not a knock on the owner's; it just happened to be bad timing.Our family loved the kayaks and the water toys being provided to you. The views are breathtaking. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

We enjoyed our little girl's weekend. The house was a perfect area to stay, right on the water and had everything we needed for the weekend. The bedrooms were perfect size, and beds were very comfy! Bathrooms seem to be recently redone, so they were nice!Not having AC was not an issue for us, we made things work with opening windows at night and keeping shades shut when sun was shining right into the house - even with 8 of us in the house! Check in/out was simple. The only reason to lose a star was that it seemed no one was at the house in some time. There were quite a few cobwebs and spiders in the kitchen/dining area. We had to do a bit of cleaning before moving our stuff into the kitchen area. We are already looking forward to booking a girl's weekend next year at this vrbo!

We had a wonderful stay in July. The house is a lovely location, quiet and peaceful, but near enough to Sturgeon Bay to enjoy shopping and restaurants. Our boys had the best time using the dock to access the water and we all tried out the kayaks. The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to cook at home in the evenings which allowed us to relax after morning explorations. Kelly responded quickly to my messages and helped make our stay just right. We hope to stay here again sometime!

Very clean and right on the water. Easy access to anywhere you may wish to go in Door county. On the Saturday of our Memorial Day weekend stay, it was unseasonably cold (40s-low 50s) so we needed to put the heat. Hosts were very responsive and advised us on turning the breaker on and that a space heater was in the first floor bedroom. The second floor warmed up nicely. The second floor shower control for hot/cold water were reversed but we figured that out. Our favorite part was access to the kayaks, paddle board, and chiminea which added to our fun and memories. Very enjoyable!

Perfect location for relaxing family weekend

The description was very accurate. The hosts have really thought about everything you may need to have a fun family getaway. The shed was full of anything you may possibly need - kayaks, water floats, bikes, fishing poles, etc. the house was filled with games, books and comfortable beds. My family enjoyed a few very relaxing days.

Perfect Getaway

The hosts were awesome in keeping us updated about property improvements (beautiful new patio they put in after we booked). Check in was super easy. They did an outstanding job with all of the amenities provided. The kayaks were a huge hit for sure as was the foosball table for my not so outdoorsy son. We are already talking about going about going back in the future. Thanks for a great property.
