About this property
Beach View, 1 Min Walk to Beach, 4 Bedroom, Secluded, Fort Morgan, Big Greatroom
One of the last under-developed beaches in the US. Views of beach from all bedrooms. Short walk across road to beach. Large, open, great room and open kitchen provide great family area. Newly rented, four-bedroom, two-bath house on dead end access road. Beach is never crowded because there aren't houses behind this house, and some neighbors don't rent. Sand bar and enjoyable surf are always available. Two king-size beds have view of beach as well as entire front deck. Queen-size bed in third bedroom and two bunk beds (sleeps four) in fourth bedroom. And, yes air conditioner was replaced in 2025.
It is hard to have a bad time here! Kitchen has full stocked cooking/entertaining amenities. Fifteen to 20 minutes to Gulf Shores. Twenty-five minutes to large outlet mall area. Access to Mobile Bay is about two-minute drive. Ferry can take you to Dauphin Island or an hour's drive to casinos in Biloxi, Mississippi. Nice Deck, Good stereo with CD changer or Phone input, Roku and Internet HDTV, outdoor hot shower, gas grill, covered parking.

In case you want to know about things near by, I will send more info, but here are the restaurant basics...
Ft. Morgan Area-
Tacky Jacks II – at what was the Fort Morgan Marina between 2 mile marker and the fort. Good fish and Gumbo. Good place for a beautiful sunset. Blackened Shrimp tacos and burgers are good.
Sassy Bass at Plaza West (7 mile marker) Popular fish place, key lime Martini’s are good! They have a place to order pizza in Plaza West, along with a good pizza place next to the…
Sassy Bass (Quick Stop) Restaurant – It seems a little nicer side (more $s) compared to the Plaza west version near the fire station. (8-9 mile marker)
Beach Club – Their spa is great, requires an appointment for hair, pedicures and spa treatments. Their services can get booked up, so call ahead. Dining is fairly good and drinks are great. Have a chocolate martini for me! Go down, sit on their veranda, and enjoy the view and a great lunch. Dinner is equally good and it’s only 3 miles East. Reservations are not necessary. Dining room is dressy casual, otherwise shirts and shoes required! Service can be slow on holiday weekends and summertime.
Fort Morgan Pizza - (~10.5 mile marker) Have not had their pizza yet.
Jesse's on the Bay - (~11.5 mile marker)This restaurant just opened up their second location. Jesse's restaurant in Magnolia Springs is great. Expect a very good meal here. Nice view of the sunset in the summer.
Ft. Morgan The best place to see a beautiful sunset unless you go to the fort and just enjoy – take your own beer and wine!
Fresh Seafood is located beside the new Chevron station around the 12 or higher mile marker, along with a coffee place and butcher
Sunsets during the winter are viewable on the gulf. During the summer they are viewable on the bay (Tacky Jacks has a nice view). I am not sure what set of weeks it switches from a southern view to a more northern view.
Gulf Shores Area-
Pappa Rocco pizza - Good pizza, good oysters, and good food. Home of the “who’s your Daddy Burger”. Has live music
Café Beignet – Good beignets (French donuts covered with confectioner’s sugar) at plaza at 59 and 180 I believe there is a chocolate shop there also, I think the women like that one!
Gulf Shores Steamer – My favorite for steamed and grilled food.
The Original Oyster House – voted # 1 for good “Southern” seafood.
Better dining, great food, good cheese grits, and red beans and rice! They do grilled, blackened, fried, etc. – Menu shows fried, but all are made any way. Right on Hwy 59 towards the beach at Gulf Shores. Often has a wait www.originaloysterhouse.com
Lulu's - Lulu is Jimmy Buffet's sister and he used to play there often. They normally have some type of band playing. Between "The Track" and the inter-coastal canal. Open outdoor covered bar area.
Acme – New Orleans seafood and oyster and Cajun food restaurant. Grilled oysters are a specialty. Across the river from Lulu’s. Near Tacky Jacks and 59
The Hangout – This is the place that sponsor’s the Hangout fest. It is on the beach at the intersection of 59 and the beach. Open outdoor bar area, almost always has a band playing. Hangout and have a drink or just hangout, fun areas for kids
King Neptune's - Neighbors have liked them. Great Gumbo
The Pink Pony – Also at the intersection of 59 and the beach. Great burgers and fries, also on the beach
Bahama Bob’s – On the beach a few miles west of 59. Good seafood. Building blocking their view, but definitely a good place.
Sea and Suds – Seafood and gumbo, etc. Good, on the beach about a mile east of 59
Flori-Bama – on the beach about 10-15 miles east of 59 at the beach on the florida-alabama border. Known for the mullet toss, and bar on the beach, Multiple bands playing, I think it is free before 5pm
Flori-Bama Yacht Club is on bay side.
Wintzell’s – Known for their oysters. A few miles on the left (across the road from the beach) going west from 59.
Live Bait – Orange beach area. They have dancing and bands. Bait nachos are good. There is one in gulf shores but it is only open when the area is busy.
There are lots of new and untried restaurants in Orange Beach, Perdido Key area. Look in yellow pages and see what appeals. Many of the restaurants host discounts or happy hours before 7pm.

Why they chose this property
I spent summers down here when I was about 10 years old. It is very relaxing to spend time here. Is there such a thing as a bad day at the beach?
What makes this property unique
Sunsets are viewable from the Deck during the summer. Leave your chairs and beach items on the beach, during your entire visit.
