THE YELLOW HOUSE - WE ARE BACK FROM HIATUS - STEPS TO THE BEACH!

Escape to this peaceful private paradise located across the street from the beach in the Frank Sound and East End area. The Yellow House is part of a collection of colorful cottages that offers elegant interior coupled with a tranquil quiet island setting. Relax by the pool, sit shaded in our gazebo with outdoor fans, or have your coffee in our screened in lanai while watching the sway of the palm trees, cayman parrots, and a few island chickens run around. Take a few steps across the street to to the beach or drive to the many beaches and attractions in the area. Luxury is not spared with granite and travertine thru-out. Two Master Suites with queen size beds, each with it's own ensuite bathroom. There is a full size sofa bed on the first floor for an extra sleep area.. First floor powder room, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table all decorated in a Tommy Bahama motif. Enjoy our front porch with adirondack chairs for shaded relaxation. The Yellow House comes equipped with coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware, all utensils, washer and dryer, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, blow dryer, Turkish beach towels, 2 beach umbrellas, 2 beach coolers, fishing poles, dvd movies, books, games, wifi, and 3 Smart tv's with applications loaded for your streaming.
Upon booking I will provide you with a packet of information including great tips, maps, our favorite activities, favorite restaurants, and many other places you should NOT miss while on island. Our guests have also written in our guest book with some great advice as well.

You will see and experience EVERYTHING while staying at The Yellow House.

We had a great stay here for a week as a family of four. The house was comfortable, well set up, and had everything we needed. The host’s communication was excellent from start to finish—very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect: quiet and relaxed, but still convenient. We’d happily stay here again.

The Yellow House is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday location. The house is prefect, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Located in a beautiful area on the island, within easy reach of Rum Point, North Side, East End and Savannah. The pool is ideal for quiet relaxation and cooling off and soaking in the Cayman Island sunshine. Jennie is a wonderful host, very easy to contact, every item of information I could need was given by Jennie in plenty of time for my trip, she event gave me a little extra time on check out day which was lovely and very kind, I absolutely loved my stay and honestly did not want to leave. I highly recommend the Yellow House as an ideal holiday location.

Perfect location!

We loved staying at the Yellow House. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the "tourist area" which we found to be perfect for us. Heritage Beach is rght across the street and made for beautiful sunsets. We would love to visit again!

Great Vacation

This was a great property. It was exactly as advertised and reasonably priced. The location is in a lightly populated area which was a plus. It was very quiet and far away from the cruise ships.

Nice area

Our stay was relaxing, pleasant overall. The beach that was closest was rocky and water rather muddy during our time frame. Didn’t see a community bar but that just resulted in a walk about the neighborhood which proved nice.

Great house and location

We loved staying at the Yellow House during our time in Grand Cayman. The location provided a good home base for exploring the island in all directions, and a quiet place to unwind afterwards. The house is well maintained, provided a lot of amenities for our family, and the host was very helpful providing info and communicating with us. We recommend the Yellow House for your next vacation!

Great home on the East End!

Clean and homey spot on the east end of the island! Everything available including cooler to take to the beach! Great host who gave us all the info we needed for a fun family stay! Great restaurant recommendations! Comfy beds. Quiet spot on the island with everything you need. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a family!

Quiet (except for the roosters) & secluded

Beautiful neighborhood away from the hustle & bustle of the noisy, crowded west end. The drive to west end can be intimidating (left side of road, traffic round-abouts). EVERYONE we met (neighbors, retail clerks, bartenders and servers, etc) was SUPER friendly and courteous. House was well-appointed and host promptly responded to all questions. Pool was private and clean. LOVED!!

The Yellow House was wonderful. The location on East End is a bit far from a lot of the action in Georgetown so you will need to rent a car. We knew this before booking and wanted something in a more residential area. We liked that we went to a "home" at the end of the day and were able to relax. Jennie was a wonderful host and her communication is top notch. The info sheet that she sends was also a great help. Her restaurant recommendations were very helpful (Tukka and the Caboose being the clear winners for us in East End). We were able to make breakfast each day, the kitchen has everything you would need. The neighborhood was very quiet. The pool was great, we used it one day when the beaches were too windy. You will need bug spray to be out there in the evening. It was nice to have Heritage Beach across the street. You can swim there but need water shoes as it is a bit rocky but it was great for snorkeling. The house had beach umbrellas, mats, and a cooler for use. There were ice packs in the freezer for us also. My only "wish" was that there were beach chairs. The mats are good for the kids, but as adults we would have loved having chairs to take when we went to the different beaches. Overall, there were no issues or complains and we really enjoyed our stay.

Seaside Serenity

What an amazing home in the middle of Paradise! My wife and I, along with our adult sons couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a week in the Grand Caymans!! This home is about a 35 min drive from the Airport and it is well worth it. We felt like we had our own little resort in the middle of the Island. The house was spacious and clean and the pool was to die for. We spent the week traveling back and forth from one side of the island to the other for different excursions and different dishes to try for all of our meals but every time we returned home it felt just like that... HOME.. safe and comfortable. Lots of wildlife around the house like lizards, Agouti, Land crab, different birds including Chickens in which my wife will miss the most. Jennie is an amazing host and her communication with me was outstanding! She even allowed for us to have early check in and late check out to accommodate our flights. Grand Cayman is beautiful. We will be returning to the island and we will definitely be looking to book The Yellow House Again!!!

East End Wonderful Yellow House

The yellow house was exactly how my husband and I hoped it would be. It is located at the east end of the island away from all the hustle and bustle of George Town. It is necessary to have a car to visit all of the sites on the island. All of the beaches are beautiful some with ocean waves and some with calm waters. The yellow house was very clean and well equipped. Everything was provided for a great beach vacation. Our host provided a list of restaurants which we enjoyed very much especially Eagle Rays. We ate there three times! The kitchen at the house had everything needed to make cooking convenient. We made all of our breakfasts and even had fresh eggs from an island farm. Our host was very responsive to our questions and usually got back to us within an hour. The pool was great and very clean although we spent most of our time at the various beaches. We are a retired couple, but the house would be great for a family with children also. We would definitely recommend the Yellow House for a vacation in Grand Cayman.

Our family of 4 spent a week at the Yellow House. Communication with the host via the VRBO app was easy and timely. Check-in and check-out were simple and straight forward. Everything mentioned in the listing was accurate and the wifi was blazing fast for those that needed to do a little work. The pool was well kept and we used it more than I thought we would. The location was perfect for us as we were not interested in the crowds of 7 Mile Beach, but you need a rental car if you stay here. The little beach across the street is nice to sit and enjoy the view, but not that great to settle in for a day at the beach. For that you need to drive to other public beaches or Rum Point. We drove to George Town several times for dinners and a boat charter - it is a pleasant 30-45 minute drive and it is easier than expected to get used to driving on the left side of the road. BUT - there are many hidden gems nearby to try for lunch and dinner (get the burger at the Czech Inn Grill). The guide provided by the host was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental for a party of 4 looking for a laid-back vacation. We are not divers, but we did eat at Eagle Rays. It is close and geared toward divers - with boats departing from that location. The only room for improvement would be updating the linens, pillows, and mattresses; however, this did not affect my rating. I imagine sourcing such items isn't easy on an island. The house is clean and a great value.

Winter 2020 getaway from WI winter.

We had an amazing time. This house is in a great location and the homeowner is wonderful to work with. When we visit the Caymans again we will definitely stay here. The neighborhood is very quiet and the house is really nice and clean. The homeowner also gave us a great list of things to do and restaurants to visit, along with a list of beaches.

Peaceful East End w/ the best restaurants close by

We all felt this was a wonderful house in a great location. We chose this location because it looked nice, clean, away from the fray, and yet not too far away when we wanted to go for snorkeling. We love coming home each day to the house to refresh and then eat at Tukka’s, Eagle Ray’s or Taco Cantina. The experience of the house and location met and exceeded our expectations. Yellow House

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is away from the crowds which we really liked. Everything we needed for cooking was there, although, we just ate breakfast and lunch there. It was convenient to Ocean Frontiers which is the dive shop we were using for our diving.

Amazing Vacation Property!

The Yellow House on Grand Cayman is a beautiful place to spend a family holiday! Jennie has thought of every detail! The house is perfect - beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal - very chill on the days when we wanted to relax by the pool and close to many amazing beaches. My family did not want to leave!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Yellow House, on the not so touristy side of the island. The home was clean and well equipped with everything you would need....from supplies for the beach to the fully equipped kitchen. We did have to call Jennie the owner once and she took care of our needs right away. We only ate out a few times, but really liked the Czech Inn Grill!!!! Had a great time snorkeling, diving and kayaking.... This was the perfect place to start the next chapter of our life...RETIREMENT!!!! Thank you Jennie

Perfect in every way!

A perfect , charming house equipped with everything you need. My family and I stayed at this house and were very impressed with how extremely modern, spacious and clean this house was. The host was very friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome; and made it clear than we can reach her at anytime if need be. The house is also very airy. All bathrooms are fully updated and so is the kitchen and appliances. The entire property, inside and out is meticulous and well maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Grand Cayman! Already missing the cute yellow house!! .
