The house was perfect for what we needed. The check in process was a little difficult though. The garage code we were given didn’t work. I tried reaching out to the host, but didn’t get an immediate response so I ended up calling customer service. They finally got the code and I was able to open the garage. Upon opening, there was another vehicle parked in our spot. Overall, it took about 30 minutes to get the garage situation sorted out. Not ideal after being on the road for the previous 8 hours.

Great location even though the original description said it was on the Bay side, was the 2nd house off the boardwalk/beach which was amazing. The view from the patio to the beach/ocean was amazing. The property in the pictures were accurate. It was a cute one bedroom beach bungalow. The only issue was communication. I still haven’t received the waiver for the hot tub even though I’ve asked multiple times so one of the selling points of the property, we never got to use. From my location it’s everything you can want in Mission Beach and the value can’t be beat though.

Location - 10 out of 10!! Would rent again for FOUR people IF hot tub worked or if you didn't care about hot tub. The location was fantastic.But.... there are NOT two queens in the bedroom. It's one queen and two twins. Our fifth guest was forced to sleep on the very hard futon in living room. Secondly, host was unresponsive for 10 days leading up to our stay and trying to get the waiver for hot tub use. She finally responded once we were there but hot tub was cold. We tried to heat it for second night, but it doesn't work.When the hot tub/location is the top reason to pay premium rates, you expect it to work. When we attempted to get some money back for broken hot tub, she said no. AND not five beds, she refused. Lastly, I am not the first review to mention she doesn't get back to you about hot tub waiver unfortunately.

Fantastic location steps from Mission Beach boardwalk and beach volleyball courts. Apt is nicely appointed and little touches like coffee pods, creamer, dishwasher and washing machine soap were great. Web based streaming is spotty and roof drainage in rain is very very noisy right off bedroom window.

Great Time on Zanzibar!

The view from the deck was just amazing! The house was clean and came with the essentials. The neighbors were super friendly and it was in a great location…close to everything. We will definitely be coming back again!
