Amazing Beach House with great ocean view!

You are going to love this ground-floor unit that sits just one house back from the ocean with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean waves from the large private deck and the gourmet Kitchen. The home has 2 large bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. The gourmet kitchen has a new stainless steel viking stove/oven, stainless steel dish washer, stainless steel refrigerator, and spacious granite counter tops. Your family will feel right at home in the cozy living room complete with a marble surface fireplace, brand new sectional sofa, and mounted 65 inch television. Two recently remodeled bathrooms both with a soothing smooth rock shower floor. The master has a queen-sized bed with a high end plush mattress and a full sized futon for extra sleeping accommodations. The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed with a high end plush mattress. Check the weather and surf report using the free wireless high speed internet before venturing outside. There is a tandem parking spot for 1 large or 2 small cars directly in front of the deck and strictly reserved for this home. Full sized washer and dryer are stacked inside a closet within the home. We also have a mini split air conditioning system that is available upon request. We offer everything you need to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are extra sheets , blankets, and pillows in case they are needed. The front patio is the best part of the home with a gas grill / bbq and a table waiting for you to sit down and take in the views. The property is located close to everything right in between pacific beach and mission beach. There are great restaurants, bars, shopping, and super markets all within walking distance.

The home is approximately 1000 square feet not counting any outdoor space & you can easily sleep 6-8 people. We also own an adjacent 2 bed 2 bath property (VRBO #879846) that can also be rented in conjunction with this home. It is by far one of the best locations in Pacific Beach or Mission Beach. Short drive to multiple Golf Course, Sea World, Shopping Malls, Balboa Park, Airport, Downtown, Old Town , Little Italy, and many other great Sand Diego attractions.

Nice location!

Great location, close proximity to the boardwalk and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Owner was very quick to respond and worked with us to get us into the home early.

Spring Break fun

House was great, had everything we needed and we were so happy to have 2 full bathrooms for five of us. The location was perfect, within walking distance of many great restaurants and fun things to do. The deck was great to see the sunset especially if you needed a break from the sand. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again in the future.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Just got back from spending Spring Break here and it was perfect! The location is ideal, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. House was great. Used the bikes everyday and the beach toys and chairs were nice to have, although some of beach gear need to be updated (couple holes in buckets and one chair). Already looking forward to rent again next year!

GREAT BEACH OASIS

We loved staying in this great beach oasis. The property has Pacific Ocean views and sounds without the heavy boardwalk traffic. We were steps from great boogie boarding, gorgeous sunrises, and miles of beach and bay boardwalk walking/running/roller blading. Volleyball nets are near by. Great food/fun Guava Beach Grill and Olive Cafe, The Mission Cafe. Close to Belmont Park and Crystal Pier. The owner was great with communication. The parking worked great for our Toyota Highlander. We would love to stay here again.

Great location

Great location - so close to the ocean and close to a few bars/restaurants plus close enough to the boardwalk to walk there but far enough away that you don't have to deal with the crowds and chaos. The place itself advertises that it sleeps 8. At most, I would argue 6 and that is only if you have 2 small children. We had 4 adults and 2 older children (10 & 16) and it was quite crowded. Plus there was not enough beach towels to accommodate (there were only 4 in total). The kitchen was nicely appointed although I would have expected a few items that were not there (e.g., baking sheets) but we were able to work around. The patio and grill area were nice and we were able to sit outside comfortably. Please note this place does not have AC (very common in this area) so if you are going to be in San Diego when it is warm, as we were, just be warned. It made sleeping extremely miserable.

Great location

Great location. Loved the bikes, two bedrooms and two baths! Easy parking in front of the unit. Several things needed fixing while we were there: no smoke alarm in the bedroom (another review had stated this too), hot water heater quit working on two different days, large window had no lock on it, keypad stopped working one day (locked out for over half an hour) on the door, 4/5 of the burners on the BBQ weren’t working. Owner always came and fixed things. But annoying none the less. The oven also smells like gas when you turn the it on (prior reviews also say this too). There was sand all over in the unit on the floor when we first arrived. Spent a bit of time sweeping to clean it up. Suggestions to make it 5 stars: a deep clean, better towels (beach towels have big holes in them, and bath towels are old!), new kitchen things (lots of dishes chipped, non stick pans have their Teflon pealing etc). We would stay again, but would be nice if the place was a bit cleaner and things were in working order.

Great location, decent place. Amenities and small things need to be fixed

Although we enjoyed the location, perfect view and steps from the ocean and restaurants, the amenities were as basic as it comes. As others have mentioned, the gas stove burners are still out, the door lock (not the metal gate) was broken still, and hardly locked, the tv in the master bedroom did not work, the master bedroom door handle fell off and wouldn't stay on, there was no screen on the master bedroom window (it was too hot in the room and didn't want to keep the window open for bugs to come in), we were literally left with a few drops of dish soap, 1 garbage bag, and the smallest size shampoo and conditioner bottles that lasted all of 2 days. We stayed for a week and had to buy everything instead of it being provided. For the price we paid, the amenities should have been provided for a family of 4 for the whole 7 days we were there as was described when we booked. These small things that should have been fixed prior to us arriving, plus basic amenities that should have held us over for the week instead of us having to go to the store, spend more money, and buy more items. Again, we paid good money to stay here for the week, enjoyed the location but we weren't provided with basic things that other places usually provide.

First time on Mission Beach

The property was pretty much as described. The positives. Close easy access to beach. Good parking with the rental for one large vehicle. Rental was open and roomy Good comfortable bed and bedding. The disappointments The door lock was poor. Could not depend on it. Owner even stated that code was not working well, so use key o outer door. However, the door latch (not dead bolt lock for key) was not working properly. Hanging up and could not open door with working with to release. Very concerning moments in getting back into unit. Owner not very responsive other than written reply that it should not be an issue. Seems that good simple working locks should not be an issue for VRBO rental?? I have not had an issue before. Could not get the oven to work and ice maker is evidently intentionally turned off??? No ice, had to buy ice. No extras in kitchen, no condiments not even salt/pepper, foil wrap, dish soap ,etc. There were 2 rolls of paper towels. Only one wash cloth in each bathroom for 4 people??? No bedside lamps for night reading or extra lamps. Just ceiling lights Front step was broken on deck and nearly took twisted my foot or fell a couple times. This needs to be fixed!!! It could use a deep cleaning, windows looked horrible.

Phenomenal location

Great spot for whatever you want to do in the San Diego area. Close to everything….golf courses, zoo, beach, shopping, and etc. Could sit on the deck and see the ocean. Would stay there again if we come back to California.

Perfect beach getaway

Great Location

We had a great stay. The location was perfect as it was literally steps from the beach. Our family enjoyed being able to walk back and forth to the beach and not carrying too many things at once. The view from the kitchen window was great. There are some areas that need improvement but to be honest they're super small things that I am sure the owners already are aware of so I will not mention here. We would book again. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with my family.

Needs outdoor funishings

The house was cute amd clean. There was no where to hang out on the porch because the table was old and uncomfortable. Didn't help to see what the neighbors set up was so good with couches, fire pit. the couch was very dirty. We covered it with sheets before we sat down. The beds were comfy.

Great location

We loved this property! The location was the best location we’ve stayed at- seriously just a park and stay! Walking distance to the beach, the bay, restaurants, you name it- you were there! The parking spot was the icing on the cake. We will be back!! The place could use a deep cleaning, but the location was so great we barely noticed.
