Amazing remodeled Beach Bungalow with brand new air conditioning!! Only 40 steps from the beach, enjoy the third-story rooftop patio with 360 view including Pacific Beach, La Jolla and the bay. Take it all in as you cook on your outdoor gas barbecue.
Steps away from beautiful Mission Beach and close to the bay. Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom have queen-sized beds. New sectional couch with pull out sleeper. New stainless steel appliances. Large new 55" 4K TV in living room, TV's in each bedroom. Washer dryer in unit. New high end stone counter top through out. Free wireless high speed internet. There is designated parking in the garage directly next to the unit. DOGS ARE PERMITTED w/ Owner approval (a pet fee is charged). Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cups wine glasses, etc... well stocked. Best location because we are one house from boardwalk so you get the views without the massive number of people walking in front of your home. Steps away from the bayside. Stroll down to Belmont Park, Mission Beach's amusement park full of Fun and activities for all. Also very close to restaurants, bars, shops and the Crystal Pier. Best value in San Diego's beautiful Mission / Pacific Beach.

Great location but needs a deep cleaning, sofa sleeper needs to be replaced very uncomfortable, mattress pads replaced, dishwasher needs attention only used it for a drying rack, main thing rental badly needs cleaning!! Hosted offered to send someone later that day we checked in to clean. It didn’t work because we had everything and everything in already.

Discrepancies

We found that the location was great, but the property needs some repairs. There were light bulbs burnt out, many of the outlets in the kitchen area didn't work, batteries in some of the remotes for the lighting needed to be replaced and you probably shouldn't use the washer.

Great location

The house definitely needs some love, a couple updates, and a good deep clean. However nothing “ruined” our stay and we had a wonderful time in San Diego with an awesome location. The property host was great to work with.

Newly renovated and great location

The owner was great and very responsive. The 3 level 2bd 1.5 bath was brand new and tastefully decorated. The rooftop deck had plenty of room to dine/relax/layout and cook. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable with amazing sheets (actually bought them on amazon prime because I loved them so much). Would definitely recommend staying here for business and pleasure.

Mission Beach Condo

The location was greagt. The garage door opener did not work when we arrived and did not get fixed until the next day. There was no table or chairs in kitchen. We founda a card table and chairs in the garage and we had to use. The coffee pot did not work but owner did offer to bring over another one. Beds were comfortable but hthere were no dressers in front bedroom.

Ideal location

Loved the location and property was nice overall. Rooftop patio chairs were all rusty, missing slats, and unusable. Grill was not clean. We also had 5 people in our party, but no extra bedding provided. There was an air mattress and couch but nothing to put on them. No broom available to minimize sand. Otherwise we were comfortable and enjoyed access to the beach, bay, and numerous eateries.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time in San Diego staying at this property. Nice and clean, roomy and close to restaurants, grocery and beach. Weather was not so cooperative , but we did enjoy the rooftop for grilling and sunning during the day a few times. This is the 3rd year visiting and we would definitely come back to this rental unit. Other units we stayed in were one bedrooms and much smaller. Since it rained a few days of our stay, a table inside would have been a plus but we made due. We never got our welcome e-mail with information for our stay and had to contact owner a few times, but he got back to us immediately with info we needed. Overall, it was a great vacation and would come back and recommend this property.

Great Location on Mission Beach

The positives: 1) Great location on Mission Beach - literally steps to the beach and boardwalk. A lot quieter area than nearby Belmont Park. 2) The upstairs deck was great - grill, table, can see the ocean and have the ambience of the sound of the waves crashing onto shore! 3) Bedrooms were upstairs away from the main living area, which was great for us with kids! 4) Bathroom included a bathtub - also great with kids! 5) Full kitchen, clean place 6) Garage parking & keypad access to the garage and rental, so we didn't have to worry about keys. Note - garage parking is definitely tight. Room for Improvement: 1) Dryer inside the unit was not working, but we were able to use the dryer in the garage 2) Basic cleaning supplies - Dishwasher soap was out, dishsoap almost gone -- we did stay in the off season (March), so this could be part of the issue? 3) Amenities - still needs a few amenities (hot pads, dish rags, a warm cozy blanket (again - there during March when its cooler)), a small 2 person table would be nice if it could be fit into the space (again - probably would not use it during prime season as you would be on the upstairs deck). All in all, great place to stay on Mission Beach! Fausto was great and easy to work with.

The location of this property was fantastic. It was super close to the beach, and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. We had some issues with the TV's that were not resolved. The box downstairs wouldn't work, and we notified the owner, and didn't get a response other than he would call the company. Also, all three TV's in the house couldn't be used at once time. My daughters were watching their own shows in their rooms, and we the 3rd TV wouldn't work. It said that one of the other units needed to be turned off. I would recommend bringing your own pillows as well, as the ones provided were uncomfortable. The washer was in the bathroom, but the working dryer was in the garage. It was inconvenient to carry all of the clothes from one to other, especially if a car was in the garage. However, it was nice to have the ability to do laundry, even though we had to carry it from inside to outside. You will also need to bring your own detergent for laundry. Finally, the beach supplies that were provided were in rough shape. Two of the chairs were broken, so we had to go buy our own. Overall, we enjoyed our time. The bikes were a nice bonus!! It was a great location. We weren't in the unit too much, and we LOVED the rooftop deck!!!!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location couldn’t be better — so close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Having beach equipment and kids’ toys available in the garage was such a thoughtful touch and made our trip so much easier. Parking access was also a big plus.A few small things could make the stay even better — having a larger amount of extra linens and towels on hand, as well as a vacuum would be really helpful since sand tends to come in easily being so close to the beach.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay again! :)

We had a great stay at this property and would definitely return! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the sand with both the front door and garage facing Strandway. It’s also within easy walking distance to coffee, pastries, restaurants, bars, and groceries, and you can stroll north to Konos or south to Belmont. The house itself is cute, clean, and the perfect size for around 4 people. We loved the Roku TVs, comfortable couch, and the ice-cold AC with units upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs patio was a favorite spot with sunset views and a peek of the ocean. The garage fit our small SUV and included a washer/dryer, beach chairs, and toys. The owner, Fausto, was excellent—very responsive and kind. When we arrived, the door codes didn’t work, but he answered right away and resolved it immediately. A couple of notes: there was no propane for the BBQ, and most items in the garage were pretty rusty. That said, this property checked all of my must-haves—location, AC, designated parking, and a private rooftop deck. Overall, clean, comfortable, and an amazing spot by the beach. We would happily stay here again!

Loved the location of this property! Close to so many great restaurants and very close to the ocean! The rooftop patio was great! We did not use the washing machine or cook in the kitchen so I can’t comment on the use of those items.
