This lovely, solid log cabin will make you feel right at home! Nestled perfectly in the pine trees, it provides an affordable, quiet and serene getaway perfect for small families and couples. Only a 5 minute drive to many of Franklin’s best attractions. These include the Fun Factory, the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts, Gem Mining, Antiquing and much more! Just a 10 minute drive to historic downtown Franklin and a 20 minute scenic drive to beautiful waterfalls and breathtaking mountain views!

The cabin is fully furnished and has a full bedroom with a lovely Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress, a full bathroom, a stocked kitchen ready for cooking, a dining area and living space with a queen sized sleeper sofa. The cabin is fully equipped with Satellite TV, Blu-Ray Player and Wi-Fi. On the warmer evenings enjoy the expansive covered porch and pine forest below. On the cooler evenings or if you just want to relax you can soak in the spacious hot tub. Upon arrival you will also find a carton of farm fresh eggs as our gift to you! This house is truly a home. It reflects warmth and love and we know you will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed and ready to book your next stay!

This cabin was super cute and secluded. It was privately owned by the family members living around the cabins and excellent pricing. We loved the porch with an amazing view and the hot tub was the absoulte best. It was close to the town and the driveway plus the cabin is well mantained.

The cabin was great and peaceful only thing was the bed was terrible I mean terrible I had to go to the chiropractor when I return. Get a new bed please or mattresses and I will be glad to rent again

Cabin in the woods

The cabin was very cute and comfortable. It was a bit smaller than I expected but perfect for two people. The location was nice, not too far from the hiking trails we wanted to do. Overall it was a great place to relax and unwind.

This was a nice little cabin. Private and yet not far from town. Perfect stay. Everything you need was provided to cook small meals. The hot tub was the best. Nice to soak in and enjoy nature.

The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. The cabin was perfect for two people and everything we needed to cook our meals was provided. Close to water falls, hiking trails, and town. The hot tub was an added bonus.

Nice Labor Day Weekend

Place was great! Especially the hot tub, which is what drew us to the property in the first place. Do yourself a HUGE favor though, follow Tim's directions that he supplies. Don't use Google Maps. It took us some crazy and scary places.

Although it rained most of our stay the driveway wasn’t a problem. Really enjoyed the back deck/porch. Hot tub was nice. Only suggestion I would make would be to invest in new fry pans. Farm fresh eggs were great, but almost impossible to fry in pans available.

Nice cabin in the woods

Great little place to stay! Just what my wife and I needed while on a motorcycle trip. The hot tub was a major plus after a long day of riding motorcycles in the mountains. Nestled up in the woods, it feels like you're miles away from anyone! A little mis communication on check in was quickly resolved by the owner. Location can be a bit tricky find. Be sure to read the supplied directions carefully. The driveway is VERY steep. We traversed it on motorcycle without trouble, but it could pose a fair challenge to most average skilled motorcyclist. Hope the cabin is available the next time we visit the area!

Wonderful except for beds and sofa

Overall the property was clean, charming, and everything we had hoped for. The only drawback was the uncomfortable bed on wheels and the sofa that was visibly worn down. Both were uncomfortable and caused back issues for myself and my partner. The hot tub was amazing and was a wonderful added touch.

I find this review interesting. You are the first couple to ever report that our bed was uncomfortable, and I am not sure what to make of the comment of it being on wheels? It is a pretty standard metal bed frame with rug rollers on the ends and typical platform bases in the middle. As for the couch- it is actually less than two years old and was a high end couch so it shouldnt be that uncomfortable? We do appreciate the feedback and will certainly check in on both and see if anything needs to be addressed/replaced. We are glad you enjoyed the hot tub and your stay otherwise.

Great cabin near town!

Great cabin near the town of Franklin! You feel like you’re out in the country, but you aren’t far from anything (grocery, gas, Walmart, restaurants, pharmacy). The cabin can fit 4 people, but we felt that it was plenty cozy with 3 of us (parents + teenager). We loved the big covered porch, the grove of pine trees off of the porch, and the hot tub. The fresh eggs were delicious! You have to drive some, but Franklin is a well-located and good-priced base for getting to other towns in the region (Sylva/Dillsboro and Waynesville for eating & shopping and Bryson City for rafting and ziplining, etc.). Just sorry that we didn’t make it to Highlands or Cherokee this trip.

Great get away for 2

Whether you & your spouse/partner, or just a good friend. It is perfect. Large porch with plenty of sitting, nice view of nature. Hot Tub an added luxury. Very quick to town, and just Hour to Helen Ga, and even less to Sylvia, Highlands, Dillard. Great location and super place to stay. We have marked to visit again

Mountain cabin

The cabin is fabulous the setting is nice, but the check in process was disaster, affixed at 9:00 pm and did not get into the cabin until after midnight, the property manager sent the email with all the check in info but the door code was not in the email, and we could not get him to answe our text for three hours, other than that the stay was great

When we decided to purchase this adorable log cabin we chose the design because of its small, yet spacious layout that created an intimate living space for a couple or small family on vacation. We added the large back porch because we are enamored with outdoor living. We wanted this space to be big enough to host family gatherings but still feel private enough for intimate conversations. We are excited to share the beauty of Franklin, NC with our guests and assist you in any way to make this a memorable stay.
