We really enjoyed our time at this property. The setting is very peaceful and serene with a lot of beautiful scenery to sit and look at. The house is spacious and well maintained. My only real gripe was with the chairs.
Pictures did not lie when it came to this lovely home! Our fascinating hosts have exquisite taste and a welcoming environment, and were responsive to my messages. The terrain approaching the house was difficult as advertised and required vehicles that could handle the dirt road leading up to the gravel driveway. During monsoon season, this is particularly tricky if you don't have keen eyesight and good clearance. We enjoyed the hike behind the house and the calm setting, and recommend this home to larger groups who appreciate charm over convenience.
What a very special property. The essence of this home is so distinctly Santa Fe and was exactly what we were looking for. We spent lazy mornings on the porch sipping coffee and watching the hummingbirds buzz by, and our evenings listening to records while we made dinner. My kids especially loved exploring the property and even built a fort, which became one of their favorite parts of the stay.Communication with Florencia was so easy and genuinely felt like I was talking to a friend. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.We loved every minute of our time here and truly didn’t want to leave. We hope to be back one day!
We had a wonderful time at Florencia's home. Check in and check out was easy, The home was large and comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked for our cooking needs and our kids had plenty to do! We so loved the hummingbirds and the deer friend that walked up to the window! We would love to come back some day. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful summer break.
We loved our stay at Casa de Suenos! It was a lovely area with lots of natural flora and fauna surrounding the exquisite adobe home. The house itself was very comfortable with many spaces to enjoy. The beds were particularly comfortable and really helped us relax and rest.
Other wonderful things are the trails around the home, the record collection, and the original art throughout the house. It was a great environment for a visit to the area and allowed us to get away from the tourist stuff when we needed some peace and quiet.
The host was amazing as well. She provided excellent communication and was gracious and helpful. She knows the area very well and let us know places not to miss as part of our vacation experience. The visitor guide in the ouse also had a great list of top area restaurants, which was very helpful. My group very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely home and highly recommend it for a visit to the Santa Fe area.
