The place was so unique and absolutely breathtaking! The hosts were knowledgeable and so very friendly. They welcomed us with open arms! Would stay here again, and again and again! We will miss Maine!!!
We traveled to the area to go on a whale watching and puffin cruise for my birthday and really enjoyed staying at the cottage. Nancy is a wonderful host and made us feel welcomed. Certainly recommend booking this rental if in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The cottage was perfect for our family and the double staircase proved helpful with young teens. Excellent beach access and the property is within steps of a beautiful preserve with coastal trails! We stayed in for as many meals as we could just to take in the gorgeous views. Our gracious hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed as we celebrated our 14 yr olds' birthday. We truly hope to return again…and stay longer.
I don’t know what’s more special about this place — the charming waterfront property or the wonderful couple who host! The house is gorgeous, clean and fit all of our needs. Nancy was exceptionally attentive and communicative before and during our stay. In Maine to celebrate a family birthday, the three bedroom two bathroom guesthouse fit our needs and then some. The rooms were spacious with water views throughout. While the pictures may portray a multi unit stay, the guest house is a standalone home over the garage with a cozy coastal interior throughout. The double stair case on either side to the driveway proved useful for early morning coffees when family members continued sleeping. There’s a beach exposed during both low and high tide and a firepit with chairs surrounding. Book dinners early enough in town to make it back for a gorgeous sunset from home.I am hesitant to explain how fabulous this property is for fear it will be booked through 2030…. But as the first guests to have stayed here I wanted to be the first review and say we will be back soon to this wonderful coastal retreat in Maine! Thank you to Nancy for such a wonderful weekend.
