Great house, good location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two best friends spending a week doing absolutely nothing. It was the best week of the year. It was a little too big for just two people, but we made it work. 😉 I must mention the absolutely fabulous in professional servicing by Cannon Beach Property Management. We have stayed with them for years and won’t stay with anyone else. There are rarely issues, but when there are, they are on it and so pleasant at the same time.

4/10 Poor

Great Location. Tired Property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Cannon Beach. CBPM is the best property management company in town. This particular property is not in the best repair. Paint is peeling, the lower bathroom floor is soft, the dishwasher is not securely fastened and tips forward when full with dishes, the beds were too soft and/or uncomfortable, the WiFi was spotty, and the lack of window screens and difficulty opening some windows makes for poor airflow in the home and are dangerous for small children. This is all unusual for a CBPM property. The owners need to make some updates for the home to be more comfortable and safer for their guests.

The only thing that would have increasedg our satisfaction is if the beds were more comfortable and were either queen or king size

We really enjoyed our stay at the Anderson Trail House. The house was clean and neat. The kitchen is well stocked. There was enough room and privacy for all of us. The beach is less than a 4-minute walk and easy to access. Mo's is a 5-6 minute walk, and the grocery store was easy to access, too. The only problem we had was with the door and the keyless entry. It never functioned properly, so we had to make sure we had the key with us. This was not a game-changer, nor does it change the rating we have of the house. I will most definitely return to this house in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great location and plenty of space!

Our family enjoyed our time at the Anderson House. Had a great location and area was very relaxing. Plenty of room in the main floor for our teenagers and we had some privacy in the upstairs master. Only have 1 recommendation, I wish there were different softness of pillows available. If we do very come back I would definitely come me back to th Anderson House but will bring a softer pillow.

INCREDIBLE Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVED this location - it's on the south end of Cannon Beach, so less touristy, and the beach access is less than a block away. The house has everything you need to make meals at home and was perfect for our family vacation. The foosball table is great for down time at home and we used the grill and ate on the deck while listening to the ocean - it was lovely.

Wonderful house & location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was great for our small family of 3, but it would be just as enjoyable for larger or multiple families. Lots of light in all rooms, space to lounge, very clean. We loved the views and how close it is to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

Sandcastle contest weekend stay

My mom and I came down for the sandcastle weekend at Cannon Beach. The weather was not ideal…chilly and rainy…but the house was perfect for it! When we walked in it felt like home. The furniture is soft and inviting, the electric fireplace was toasty, and the house heated up really quickly. And when the sun finally came out and it got warm, we opened all the windows and got a great cross-breeze. It’s not a modern place, it feels more lived-family style. It would be very comfortable for two couples and a few kids, although there’s definitely room for more. Oh the shower pressure was great, even from the older fixtures in the downstairs bathroom. And if you have time for a relaxing bath the tubs are big and have jets. Walking to the beach took about 2 minutes; it’s very close! It would be a long walk into downtown Cannon Beach though, so we drove for that. Also there’s a nice, natural-foods grocery store two blocks away. I definitely recommend!

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming down to Cannon Beach for the last 10 years using CBPM, & this was our first time at this vacation home. It had a lot of perks. The location, amount beds/rooms, large dining area and ocean view. You could tell they tried to stock the kitchen with the essentials for all your baking and cooking needs ie. Pots, pans, dishes, knives, utensils, odds and ends. The house needs work though. The carpets were stained/very used, the walls were scuffed and dinged, water stains on the ceiling, and the downstairs had a musty smelled to it. It was just apparent the overall house needed some TLC.

Great location and floor plan; home needs a few upgrades.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Cannon Beach for 20 years and have stayed in many rental homes. This was our first time to rent the Anderson House, and overall we were pleased. We enjoyed the location, as we prefer to be in the Tolovana Inn area and especially like the south side. The floor plan of this rental house was great and fit the needs of our family very well. We loved the views from the upstairs family room, porch, and kitchen area especially. However, just a few upgrades would’ve made our stay much nicer. First, the downstairs beds were extremely old and uncomfortable. New comfortable mattresses are quite inexpensive and would have improved our stay greatly! There were also very few towels available, no beach towels, and no extra blankets. No beach were available for guest use; almost every rental house we have stayed in has provided these. Lastly, the reclining chair upstairs was on the brink of falling apart.Again, overall a great house, but just a small monetary investment would improve the value of this house tremendously.

I think the upstairs fireplace should be cleaned or replaced. It gives off a bad odor. I think it gets in the fibers of the carpet. The smell was slight and a small annoyance. The location, price, rooms etc were really nice. We enjoyed our getaway.

A lovely home that needs some deep cleaning! A lot of old and scuffed up utensils, which look dirty. Floor, countertop’s in kitchen and bathroom had Obvious built up dirt, We did enjoy our stay and the location was great, I would be hesitant to return. I think the history of the Anderson family portraits added so much warmth and character to this home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall stay was good and the location is excellent. The property needs TLC from the owners. Fresh coat of paint, new flooring, update the bathrooms a bit and new caulking would make a huge difference. The house was indeed clean, just some issues with old caulking. The house is great for multiple guests. The management company is great. I would rent this house again as I might be a bit picky, but we did enjoy our stay.
