Pleasant accommodating host. Met personally !Location was three bedrooms, with one bedroom walk through …. Two fullBaths with powder rm. two small kitchens . Loved the motion sensor lighting, lots of outside lights. Easy 4 block to grocery store, one block walk to great Thai restaurant , two blocks to bar /restaurant . Easy walk to hop on tour bus stop. Location, location, location!!!

This place is very spacious! The host is AWESOME, Earl responds very timely and is very knowledgeable about New Orleans. Parking was very convenient! We enjoyed ourselves and was very comfortable. The AC was awesome! 2 kitchens and 3 bathrooms was top notch! The beds were awesome as well! We will be back!

Earl, our host, provided excellent communication before and thoroughout our stay. Conveniently located in a very walkable neighborhood, this house was huge! It was perfect for us, and we even ended up with more space than I thought we were going to have. One of the showers tended to run a bit hot, but water pressure was excellent. The amenities were a very nice touch, and I would definitely stay there again.

The apartment exterior is not as shown in the photos. There is a full size black metal security gate with a lock on the street side of the front door. Behind that is the front door.The seemingly large plate glass windows with shutters are boarded up from the inside.There are no other windows that can be accessed.Vagrants loitered next to the front door, a wrecked abandoned vehicle sat in front and security cameras surrounded the entire perimeter. The host said he would send pictures a few days prior to our check in but we never received them.Upon entering we were very uncomfortable with the maze of a layout and called the host to voice our concerns. He was unnecessarily rude and told us that because we had entered the space we were stuck with it. If we didn't like it we could replace the key in the lock box and leave. He would be able to re-rent the apartment no problem and we could take up our issue with VRBO. We found hair in the tub of one bathroom and false eyelashes in the other tub. There is a roof leak at the half bath.Our son and his partner arrived the following day, spent one night in the apartment, then left and booked a hotel. We had no further communication with the host except to text him that we had checked out.Seeing a charge for extra guests I contacted VRBO. The host claimed we had 6-7 people staying there. That is false. In fact there were 4 for one night, 2 for three nights.The 12 reviews I read were positive but clearly they weren't enough.

Perfect Home Base

This place was perfect for our weekend in New Orleans . Communication with manager was great. The place had plenty of room for our family of 6. And parking right in front. And some very pleasant extras. Water and sodas in the fridge!! No need to drive once you arrive. The bus and street car are right across the street!! We would love to visit again!
