Everything we could have needed for our stay was provided by our host. The house is a wonderfully charming stay in a great location. I will check to see if available on our next visit!

Thank you so much for the kind words, we're glad to hear you had a great stay! We'd love to host you again on your next New Orleans adventure!
The house was a total surprise. First, it was a relief to see the gated driveway. The location was perfect for the trolley. The guys in our party used the trolley to go to the World War II Museum one day, and then our group used the trolley to go to the French Quarter another day. It made it so much more convenient than having to drive our car and find parking. The inside of the house was beautiful. You could see touches of the history in the floor plan. All 3 floors were decorated beautifully and it was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. It was extremely comfortable. It's nice there was a washer and dryer. We were able to wash clothes. The host(s) did a great job with having coffee, creamer, etc., available. We would definitely use this VRBO again, as well as, recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in New Orleans. It's too bad the rating only goes to 5. I would give it a 10.

We loved this property. The host communicated the entire stay. It was clean, had plenty of resources available and was a nice updated old home. I loved the charm of the place! Thank you so much! Highly recommended if you want a taste of old Nola charm.

The 3bdrm/4bath house was a great base for us while visiting family in town. The location is very central and a convenient Uptown location just two blocks from the St. Charles Streetcar line

We came to NOLA for our daughter’s wedding. We had family coming from all over the US and this property was perfect for receiving guests before they headed off to their hotels.

We just saw your amazing review! Thank you for being such a wonderful guest. We hope you create many more wonderful memories!
The property was superb for comfort, cleanliness and spaceiosness. It was superbly located two blocks from St Charles trolley. The photos were accurate descriptions of all rooms. Communications with David were easy and received swift responses. Our only complaint-and a not insignificant one for the elderly was the steep and long stairs to reach floors two and three. I am 80 years of age and in fairly good shape but some had ailments and limited mobility which made carrying luggage to the 3rd floor not only difficult but dangerous. Recommend mentioning this in the property description to prevent a potentially dangerous fall.We had a great time in NOLA!Mike Slein

We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We've also updated the listing with a better description of the stairs for future guests.
We stayed at this property for a week for my daughter's graduation. There were 3 couples and a couple infants. The property is accurate in its description. The first floor rooms are spacious and provided plenty of space for our group. The kitchen is very functional. Each bedroom had an ensuite which was very useful for each couple. The parking for two cars behind a gate gave us confidence. Additionally, street parking was always available. The Fresh Market is a mere two blocks away. Recommended for those who want a good location and good space for a group.

Thanks a million for the positive review! Hope to see you again.
This is a beautifully renovated, spacious, historic home!
It was a wonderful respite from our many daily outings and activities around the city.
Its location- midway between our family near Audubon Park and the French Quarter- was perfect for our visit. The close proximity to the St Charles Streetcar line made getting about easy, timely, and inexpensive.
We ate most meals out (yum!), but really enjoyed our morning coffee sitting in truly comfortable reclining leather loungers in the spacious Kitchen-Den. Had we wanted to cook, there is an upscale grocery store 2 short blocks away.
The air conditioning worked great, thank goodness, and the beds were quite comfortable. Havining four bathrooms was epically nice.
We loved the house and would definitely select this home again!

A Great Home for Friends to Meet in the Garden District of New Orleans!
My wife and I and another couple who are our friends, met at this house to enjoy a long weekend in New Orleans. The house has plenty of room with three bedrooms, four bathrooms (!!!), a full kitchen and two outdoor spaces. Off street parking for two vehicles is a plus. The house is old, the floors are not level and the walls are not square, but the kitchen and the bathrooms are updated, and despite being a large house, there are plenty of cozy spaces. There are TVs in every bedroom and a living space off the kitchen for streaming, but we never used them. The house is located at the edge of the Garden District and Uptown. The St. Charles trolley is about a block away and Magazine St. is a short ten minute walk.Overall, this house provided us a great base for a great weekend.
