This house was great for what we were looking for. Very clean and had all items you need. One thing to know is that there is no cell service and no WiFi.
Very nice, secluded, and peaceful place. Clean and quiet. Close enough to attractions. No cell signal or WiFi so be prepared for that. Had to go out on the patio to get enough signal to communicate with the host with any questions. Found them to be very responsive and accommodating. Would gladly stay here again.
Great place along the Bourbon trail. Photos don’t do it justice. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. Large deck with fire pit worked out great to relax and stargaze. River access was not really available unless wiling to walk through some tall weeds and rocks.
Great place to visit for a very unique & well planned cabin. Excellent taste in furnishings and took advantage of the small pond while sunset was approaching. They have a bench on the dock which makes for such a peaceful, relaxing time. Very enjoyable and host is fully accessible. This is our 2nd time here and was also able to hike the Cecil Gorley complete trail this time. Trail has 47 bridges and has beautiful views of lake on descent.
We would 100% stay here again. It felt like we had the whole world to ourselves. The deck was incredible and we sat out every morning and night to hear nature and see the stars. Everything was comfortable and easy to access.
What an incredible stay! The pictures don’t do it justice! Unique doesn’t even begin to describe this property especially when you consider all of the difficult work it took to put it there. It was exceptionally clean, nice and quite just how we (and our furbaby) love it! Fantastic location as well, we were able to go to our top 3 bourbon distilleries and they were all within an hour away. The host was super easy to get ahold of as well with any questions that I had. We have already recommended this property to friends and family and will continue to do so!
This property was exactly what we needed for the weekend - the unavailability of service was a nice change - but if needed we could just go outdoors and climb the hill. The rain finally stopped Sunday evening and we were able to enjoy the patio.
Very cool place to stay with awesome features that makes it easy to disconnect! We especially loved the deck and all the large windows. The beds were comfortable and the towels were very nice.
The place was just as described but the driveway to get to the place is very steep and curved…the path to the stream was very overgrown and we were not walking through it. The owner had to come and fix the mini split because of a constant drip on the dining room chair and floor which we gladly cleaned and notified them and they came and fixed it. But what got me was being accused of having a dog in the home and pet hair around..The owner was in the container fixing the mini split and talking to us for awhile I think he would have noticed a dog!

Beautiful location- we saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed walking along the river. The cabin is very spacious, super cute, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We really enjoyed the patio and fire pit.
