4 WHEEL DRIVE / GOOD CLEARANCE REQUIRED!!! The dirt road leading up the house has large potholes which are difficult to avoid and caused my rental car (sedan) to bottom out a few times. I would not return without a 4WD / good clearance car. Many of the light switches did not work in the house. The home seemed like it could be very nice, but needs some updates and care. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably would not book again.
The kitchen is very dimly lit and it was hard to see cooking. Spices where really old and clumped together. Not a breaker though. Adorable little place! The bed upstairs was very comfortable. We had a ton of fun and it was nice and cozy. Loved the pellet stove. Will definitely be back again
We had a great stay at the Chalet! Just what we needed for a quick weekend away. It is very quiet and supplied everything we needed! We will keep this in our list and most likely plan to return!

It was spacious, clean, and fun place to stay. It had charm and a cozy vibe. Lots of thought into what people might need or forget during their stay. Lots of shade and greenery surrounding the property making a nice view from the wraparound deck.
We like to get away from fireworks and this location has always served our needs perfectly.

Myself and 2 other moms do a get away every Nov. Before the holiday season kicks in. This cabin was perfect!! Super clean , delightful interior and was in a quiet neighborhood that made you feel miles away from others. We will definitely go back
This house worked great for a quick midweek ski getaway. My teenaged son and I skied, while my husband worked from the house. About 20min to Timberline, 30min to Meadows. Well stocked kitchen (butter, cocoa, tea) and cozy beds. Highly recommend!

Decent place to stay for a ski weekend
The place is just fine for a small family ski weekend or hiking at Mt. Hood. Check in is easy, but I took stars off for cleanliness, especially considering it felt like we had to do quite a few cleaning chores on the way out and I found a few things laying around and in the fridge, despite a cleaning fee being charged, etc. Overall, I would consider the place again
My only complaint would be the tiny space between the wall and toilet upstairs. And the sink didn’t drain very well. But we loved the place, it was peaceful. The blankets were amazing. The beds were so comfortable. Internet worked great.

Hi Tony! Thank you for your feedback. Good thing there are two bathrooms if the upper one wasn't quite comfortable for your use. Come getaway again! Thanks vet much.

I took my kids and other family here so we coulf go play in the snow. It was a little bit further than i thought it would be to reach snow but that wasnt a big deal. This cute cabin had almost everything. Board games, washer & dryer, there were even basic food items like hot chocolate and pancake mix. The kids had a great time running around while us ladies enjoyed the facial masks and bath bombs that were there for us to utilize. Great little get away.
The house is a cook 70s throwback. The kitchen is large and the two living spaces gave our family all the space we needed. The pellet stove was perfect to sit around after sledding all day. The two things I’d recommend is better lighting throughout downstairs and a shoe rack by the front door/

Such great feedback, Shannon - done! Thanks for your stay and come again. :)
Loves staying in this cabin in the woods. The layout of this cabin allows for privacy but still can communicate with people in the home from anywhere you are. Kitchen was so perfect for our needs. We brought a crock pot for chili and cooked steaks and broccoli the other night. We made full use of the kitchen and it had everything we could possibly need. The pellet stove was such a nice addition, but we ran out of pellets after the first night. Would be nice to have a slight upgrade in the lighting. Playing board games and puzzles was hard in soft light. I would love to come again. Great for kids with the bunk beds too!!

Great idea on the crock pot! And so sorry to hear about the pellets - that won't happen again. Please come get away again soon!
The owner's driving directions said, "GPS will get you there." NOT TRUE! Going towards Mt. Hood, there are TWO Faubion Loop turnoffs from Hwy 26. Take the second one. Then immediately turn left onto E Pinner Road, a scary steep dirt path that looks like a Third World country. At the top of the hill, it turns right and becomes E Jennie Lane. Here's where the real fun begins. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS WITH A LOW CLEARANCE CAR. The huge potholes are insane, and if you encounter another car, there is nowhere to pull off to the side. Also, contrary to the map, Jennie Loop is NOT a loop, it's a dead end. Go out the same way you came in. THIS ROAD IS A NIGHTMARE. We will never come here again unless the road is graded.
The cabin itself was spacious, with a 1970's vibe, kind of dark and gloomy. Couldn't see what we were doing in the kitchen. The enormous deck was the best part. What bothered me was when you pay a lot of money to rent a place, you expect to have the space to yourself. Not here. The owner's family's clothing and food was everywhere, stuffed into drawers & cabinets. Lots of handyman work to be done. The refrig & freezer had half-eaten condiments and ice cream, which was nauseating.
The bunkbed room was pretty much a cramped storage closet with broken lighting fixtures and junk stuffed onto the upper bunk. The upstairs bedroom was nice. The toilet space was tight - I barely fit in there, and I'm 4'11". The shower head was aimed for someone 7 feet tall - crazy!
