Great cottage in the woods

Enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and was conveniently close to town. Nice place for a family to stay. We also enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit!

This was a great place to stay. It was very clean and has a nice location. You are close to town, but on a very quiet road. The lake is a short walk away, but not too far. We saw blue herons when we were down there.

Well stocked, clean cottage with everything we needed for our weekend. Canoeing on the Kunjamuk was just a 5 minute drive away. The well-stocked fire pit made for some nice campfires. We would book Pine Hill Cottage again.

Looking at the pictures of the property grounds, I expected lake access from their property. Instead it was a walk down a steep hill to a public place I found crowded with guys fishing.

Dear Tom. With all due respect, the rating of three stars seems a bit critical. Our listing does not mention private access or close proximity (lake frontage) to the lake. In addition, the images provided showcase professionally built fishing platforms, not private docks. Sorry you misunderstood the listing and didn't enjoy your stay.
