Super beautiful view and amazing house layout. The pictures honestly didn’t even do it justice it was rustic and cute. Definitely older but I loved it.
We had a great two months on the lake. Buffalo is a quaint little town I’d driven through often but hadn’t hung out in much. Far enough from the twin cities to feel like small town America but still within reach (about 45-50 minutes). Walking the dogs and then hitting the lake in either my own or one of the provided kayaks was a great way to burn half the day. Neighbors were nice and the neighbor hood was great. It was a nice time away from Texas.
Perfect location. Close to Highway 55 and surrounding towns. Excellent location across from the lake. Superb sunsets. :) Mattia was quick to reply to my questions and very accomodating.

Thank you Bonnie for your kind words. I appreciate you for keeping the house spotless. You’re welcome back anytime.
Super safe, super clean, and well stocked lake house. The beach across the street is perfect for launching kayaks and paddle boards. Nice dock for fishing. Friendly neighbors.
Easy check in and check out. Very convienent location for so many fun things especially stuff geared toward kids. Host was very responsive when we needed anything. The lake is in front of the house across the street, but was still private access just didnt realize that from the pics!
We stayed here while my wife covered call at a local health center. Kids loved it. The beach was great for our two year olds. They had a blast in the basement. Owners were terrific at communication. Thanks for a great stay!
Spacious place for several families. We enjoyed the sunset and had several games of Cribbage. The beds were comfortable -lots of space for privacy. The lower shower door has some issues but not a big deal. We will be back next year!!!
Wonderful girlfriend’s weekend! The beach is right across the street from the house. Every evening we would grab our lawn chairs and head over to watch it. The beds are comfortable (everyone slept great) The only frustrating thing was the check in process but that’s not the owners fault- we never got the email from VRBO with the check in code so had to reach out to the host to get the info. Besides that- wonderful stay!

Outside
Inside was ok but the outside was poor the grill was unusable the outside furniture was dirty, holes in the cushions and stained, the kayaks needed to be carried across a busy road, wish they had provided a kayak rack by the lake, had asked about the dock availability as we were renting a pontoon for one day, there was a dock but it was not in the lake, we were told it would be installed but did not happen during our stay, limited inside seating and dishes we are a family of 7 but only 5 cups and 5 glasses
The home was great! The hosts/owners were fine. This place is not conducive for a boat (see pics) due to dock set up. You also might want to consider bringing a table top/small grill if you plan on grilling & chairs for beach/bonfire. We didn’t use the deck at all due to its condition.
John, was a great guest. We had some renovating during his stay and he was very nice to let us complete it. We would love to have him and his guests to come stay anytime.
