Super convenient location and a three-minute Uber drive to downtown Portland. The CIA cafe up the street was lovely and it was actually pleasant to be slightly removed from all the activity in town.
The Location was PERFECT. Quiet yet close enough to everything. The Space was Clean well furnished and comfortable. I hope to be able to use again next year.Thank You Jennifer your place was Great.
Perfect place to stay in the Portland area. Not a busy area, lots of places within a very short walking distance. The apartment is a perfect size for two, decorated so cute and cozy. Bed was so comfortable, too. The stairs up are a bit steep but wasn't difficult for us. We didn't use the kitchen but it is fully stocked. We walked to Cia Cafe every morning for the perfect breakfast and coffee.
Super cute, lovely and cozy place! 5 min from downtown (much closer even than we expected) just over the bridge, easy to find and nice quiet neighborhood. Host was super friendly with clear check-in instructions and welcome message. Would recommend bringing lighter bags because of the steep stairs up to the apartment but absolutely worth it for not having any upstairs neighbors. Parking was great, property well upkept and clean, more than sufficient air conditioning and amenities.
We had a fantastic time at Jennifer’s place! It’s a tucked away spot and we were given perfect instructions to enter. Very beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and had a great dinner in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay! The apartment was super clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the extra amenities were appreciated. We walked to dinner (Cafe Louise) and spent the day in the Old Port which was a 5-minute drive from the house. Thanks so much Jennifer!
This unit was in the perfect location. Everything you could possibly need under a 10 min walk. I was impressed with how thoughtfully decorated it was. Felt like home. The host was amazing, unfortunately I overslept bc I was up late with a migraine the night before. The cleaner woke me I felt terrible. I hurried to get packed up and they were very understanding and patient with me. So grateful to have found her accomodations. I will definitely book with Jennifer when ever I can while I'm visiting the area.
This property was just as pictured and the decor is phenomenal. Check in was easy, directions were spot on, and communication from the property manager was great. A/Cs worked well. The place was super clean and had all the amenities as if you were staying at home. Area was pretty quiet and had a grocery store and food close by.
We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer's apartment during our Maine visit.
It was such a cool spot that was super comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Perfect for a couple. All of the extra amenities like robes, snacks, and good coffee were an added bonus.
We walked to So Po Seafood for lunch & had an amazing dinner in the Old Port at Scales which was a 5-minute drive.
We will be back!
My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend in South Portland and enjoyed the central location and charming touches of Jennifer’s apartment. The space is lovely, exactly as described in the listing. The communication was clear and detailed. We will definitely return!
Check-in instructions were very easy to follow and the place was cleanly and well-decorated. We also appreciated the substantial amount of window AC units and fans. Only thing to note that we did not realize ahead of time was the two sets of narrow stairs. Somewhat difficult to navigate with our bags. We were able to do so but I would not recommend for people with any sort of physical limitations. All around a seamless experience!
The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the bright lighting and the snacks. The apartment’s location is great since it is so close to the bridge and downtown Portland. The two flights of steep stairs were a surprise, especially with heavy luggage. We handled them just fine, but they may prove difficult for anyone with mobility issues. A heads up about the stairs and a reminder to bring quarters if using the washer and dryer may be helpful in your listing.
Our stay was quick, but I would absolutely stay here again!
The apartment had everything we could've needed, and then some. It was also decorated very well, and was very modern, with bright colors and lots of natural light. It was incredibly welcoming!
I will mention that there are two flights of stairs, which are shallow and steep. If you have mobility troubles, this apartment may be strenuous to get to.

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer
I've moved home after living on the West Coast for 12 years. Currently residing on the beautiful East End, it is such a pleasure to have discovered that over the last decade or so this neighborhood has grown into a wonderfully diverse, safe and welcoming community. Plus, I love being able to walk to brunch and to the market! I desperately missed those outings, living in the car-centered culture of Los Angeles. It's been a wonderful experience meeting and hosting people from all over the world who are visiting Portland!
