This is a VERY special house. It is set back against the rocky hills very close to Joshua Tree National Park. It is immaculate in its design and decor. We loved the quiet and the privacy. The main house has beautiful views and is very bright with natural light during the day. The pool was so warm (without heating it) you could barely tell you were getting in the water. We loved the variety of outdoor spaces. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and all the amenities were of the highest quality. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we also used the grill in the outdoor courtyard between the main house and the casita. I booked this house for our short honeymoon and it was perfect. We were so excited when we pulled up and then explored what the house had to offer. I highly recommend staying here. This house easily earns a five star rating. There was nothing to complain about and only things to rave about.

Peace and Quiet

The peace and quiet at the Bolder Housr property started to sink in as soon as we arrived. We set down our devices , soaked in the hot tub and enjoyed the night sky. What a great getaway! We did a night sky tour through Stargazing Joshua Tree near Pioneertown and recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is situated very well and you do feel a sense of privacy even though there are homes around you. The decor was as the pictures showed. Very inviting. There are a lot of outdoor areas which add to the feel of the home. I would suggest an investment in higher quality towels as well as more towels available. I did request them and they would not accommodate. They were responsive but felt we had enough. For what we were paying, that was ridiculous. That is the one thing I would note that needs to change. A simple ask would have been so easy to accommodate and make your guests happy. That would have moved my 4 star to 5.
