The dining table seats four, although you may be tempted to enjoy your meal on the otherworldly patio next to the BBQ grill overlooking the national park.
Appliances include a dishwasher, gas stove, oven, blender, mixer, microwave and multiple coffee making options. All cabinets are fully stocked with dishes and cookware.

The outdoor spaces are intentionally integrated into the natural desert landscape and all provide panoramic views. The BBQ, pool, spa and covered outdoor lounge area make it an idyllic setting for days spent in the sun. The pool is surrounded by an expansive patio with lounge chairs and relaxing options that capture the majestic views. Just off the pool there is a propane fire-pit area surrounded by native plants which invite a range of daily wildlife visitors.

–Joshua Tree National Park: 800,000 acres of mystical beauty - Joshua Tree National Park is one of the world’s most incredible natural desert treasures. Sweeping, grand in scale and populated by granite monoliths and voluptuous rock and boulder formations. This quiet land, conducive to meditation and roaming, was carved by extremes in climate - wind, rain and an ever-present, relentless sun. Diverse forms of plant life are found everywhere, but none as unique or prevalent as the park’s namesake: the Joshua tree, standing majestically across the vast topography.

–Pioneertown: Step back in time to thus rustic Old West-style village. Wander through the historic buildings, visit unique shops, catch a live music performance at Pappy & Harriets, and experience the Wild West charm.

The Neighborhood:
Joshua Tree Highlands is considered one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the area given its close proximity to the national park as well as its forever northerly vistas of the Mojave Desert. Though you’ll feel like you’re far from civilization, this area sits just a few minutes’ drive from shops and restaurants in Joshua Tree Village and Yucca Valley.

When you’re ready for some outdoor adventure, Joshua Tree National Park’s West Entrance is less than 5 minutes away by car.

Searching for great eats, drinks, shops, and things to do? Here are a few recommendations in Joshua Tree Village, less than a 10-minute drive away:
• Start your day at The DEZ with a coffee and baked good
• Marvel at the handiwork at the World Famous Crochet Museum
• Pick up some lunch or a souvenir from the Joshua Tree Certified Farmers' Market, open Saturdays
• Perhaps close your day with the food, drinks and music offered at the rustic Joshua Tree Saloon

Up for a day trip? Don’t miss these area highlights - they’re worth the drive.
• Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum (20-minute drive) - As far from a stuffy gallery as you can imagine, this outdoor sculpture garden contains a unique collection of folk-art.
• Pioneertown (25-minute drive) - Put on your ten-gallon hat and stroll down Mane Street of this Wild West-inspired town, also known for Pappy & Harriet’s, a notable restaurant and venue.
• The Integratron (30-minute drive) - New age-y healing destination with a sound bath, originally designed by ufologist George Van Tassel with the goal of reversing the aging process.
• Palm Springs (50-minute drive) - Artsy town known for vintage shopping, art galleries, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

Getting Around:
This is a remote location down dirt roads, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.
