Amazing Place and People

Not only is this an incredible place to stay, but it’s also such a cute and quaint space that really makes you feel at home. The house is clean and full of charm - it is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything was exactly as described, and the attention to detail really stood out. Beautiful place!

We had a lovely, if brief, stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It would have been completely perfect except that the shower never got hot. The beds are comfortable, the place is quiet, and the art is wonderful. We would stay again!

Erin, I'm so sorry about the shower temperature. I just had that shower worked on, and I'm guessing the plumber reset it to the "safety" temperature. I'll get it addressed, but please accept my apologies. Tepid showers are the worst. Thank you for your kind review -- I'm so, so pleased you like the place.

Beautiful Accommodations

Beautiful property and comfortable stay. Everything was carefully labeled and available for a comfortable stay. Great shower. Comfortable beds. There is a little road noise due to the antique windows, but a sound machine is provided in each bedroom for convenience. Great location near ANGC.

We are both in the tech field and love to garden. He makes the dirt through composting, and I grow the veggies, herbs, and flowers. I was born in Augusta, and I graduated from Augusta State University. I moved away for grad school, but family often draws me home. We bought this house to be able to visit my mom more, and we are happy to be able to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

This is our home away from home, and we tried to make it as comfortable and functional as possible while preserving its gorgeous, historical details. It has everything you need and a lot of what you'll want in a place that's outfitted for comfort.

What makes this property unique

A king-size bed in a king-sized bedroom gives you plenty of room to stretch out. We have dressers for your clothes, closets if you need them, a fully stocked kitchen, modern plumbing, a washer and dryer and everything that we can think of that you'll need. We restored many historic details during the renovation, including kitchen cabinets made from old growth forests, original Douglas fir flooring, and antique lighting. All of the art in the house is original.
