Wake up to breathtaking sunrises on Narragansett Bay. This peaceful 3-bedroom waterfront cottage has private beach access and backs to John H. Chafee Nature Preserve with miles of shorefront to explore. This prime location is just minutes from historic Wickford and beautiful Newport. There is plenty to do for everyone. For the adventurer, we offer 2 kayaks with adult life jackets and paddles or relax on the 2 lounge chairs overlooking the water.

The recently renovated interior space includes 3 bedrooms that sleeps 6 adults, one full bathroom with tub, a newly remodeled kitchen and adjacent living room with a 65 inch smart TV with streaming services. Whether you're here to relax or explore, this cottage will give you the best of everything Rhode Island has to offer.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please don’t wash linens and towels. We will take them to the laundromat. The washer and dryer is too small for those large loads. You can put used towels is the hampers.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
You are welcome to use the two kayaks by the shed. Paddles and two adult life jackets are provided. Please take them off the beach when finished.
No beach fires please.
No fireworks.

This cottage is a wonderful place to stay. 30 minutes to Judith Point where you can take the Block Island Ferry. Beautiful view out the glass slider with an incredible kitchen and comfortable rooms. Leif was extremely attentive and responded quickly. Fun to walk along the beach and collect shells. Absolutely loved it here!

We loved our stay at Leif’s place! The house is beautiful, and the location is lovely. Very quick access to the bridges to get you over to Newport. Everything was exactly as expected from the listing. Leif texted in advance with the check in info, and when we arrived we had everything we needed. I would love to stay again someday. One of our favorite bonuses was being able to take a walk down the block (lovely) to the publicly accessible fresh water spring to fill up our water bottles whenever we needed.

PERFECT

Perfect place to stay when visiting the area. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. House has own access to a small beach. Nearby Narragansett and Newport. Great places to eat. Loved Plum Point Bistro - but make a reservation. Also had fun at Narragansett beach.

This place is amazing. It is so close and convenient to everything. The inside of the house is very well maintained and the owners are amazing to deal with. You couldn’t ask for better views and the beach outside of the house is perfect. My family will be back!!!!

Perfect home base

We had three generations of family stay at Leif’s house and it was the perfect place for us. Nice location between Kingston, Naragansett and Newport. The bunk beds met our needs for 3 kids and 3 individual adults without wanting a 4-5 bedroom house. Leif was very responsive and thoughtfuk about naking our stay feel welcome.

Summer Oceanfront Escape

This property is a hidden gem and made for a magical vacation. House is newly renovated and bright and clean - with sunrise views across the water from the living room and master bedroom. There is direct access to pathways along the water that are private. We enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the patio overlooking the Jamestown and Newport bridges. I live locally and had friends visit throughout my stay. Plenty of parking for all. Check in was seamless and the owner was excellent with communication. I hope to stay again.

Everything about the place was awesome. It was exactly as described in the posting and probably better in person. Communication was excellent. Beautiful Rhode Island views, easy water/beach access, lots of privacy, great parking. We cooked all but a couple meals for our whole family and the kitchen was GREAT! So rare to have nice pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc when renting. Plenty of towels and all the beds and linens were lovely and super comfortable. The furnishings and decor were simple and perfectly suited the space.Couldn’t have imagined a better setup for our family vacation.
