The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Wash, dry and put away all dishes from the dishwasher
Take out all trash from the house. Only put bagged trash in the pink bin and pull bin to the edge of the driveway.
Wash towels and put them in the dryer to dry. Leave inside garage door to the house unlocked.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Ring camera's are present facing the driveway, inside the garage facing the garage door and out back facing the deck stairs.
Place pink trash bin to the edge of the driveway upon check out unless otherwise directed by the host.
$250 cleaning fee if pet is present , no pets allowed $500 for smoking inside the house, no smoking allowed $150 for using fireplace, for show only

We had a wonderful girl's trip. The owner is accommodating and friendly. The neighbors were very nice to us. The house is clean, spacious, right on the lake. It is also very close to Lake Huron. Highly recommend!

Comfortable Relaxing Stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Van Etten Lake Chalet! It has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay! The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms and living spaces are clean and spacious. Grab bars have been installed for safety and assistance if needed. The view of the channel is pretty. We chose this location for its proximity to some birding sites and to Lake Huron. The location is away from traffic but has easy access to main roads. Nice! The hosts are very responsive and they provided great instructions. We had a great experience here. Thank you!
